What happened from the semi final --> final?! :( thought I might have been a borderline qualifier after that result! Ah well, I'm happy enough with a place in the final as I get way more invested in the contest that way! I don't have anything particularly great in my potential entries ATM so I'm v glad that we've got til April to find some new music! Chuffed to bits with 8th for Kenton/Demon, that is substantially better than I thought they would do when I first entered the track - and I'm even more pleased that it seemed to pick up a lot of 18s/15s/13s too so it's always really nice when you get a sense that people have warmed to a risky track... Pav (that 18 swap! *.*), Land of DW, Vülker and Usfland get special thanks for their maximums :wub:

 

...talking of warming to risky tracks, massive congrats to Ethan - loved the song and it's the best winner in absolutely ages (well, since Rationale!) - so very happy for you. And to echo everyone else, well done to Dan for such a smoothly hosted contest, superbly done squire.

 

Also, very pleasing to see a lot of different country names towards the top of the results this time around - particularly pleased for Yehesi as that was easily one of the better pop entries of recent months.

I love that I think it's the entire top 6 have gotten a new peak, and New Lexico rarely gets top 10s also, seeing different people do well all the time is great to see (and tends to also leave the YTD wide open :kink: )

 

Actually I'm still quite amazed that my entire top 5 finished in the top 7, I can't remember the last time I had that much synergy with everyone else.
