Even if he did some dancing instead of stepping around, it would be improved and represent something that could actually be considered a music video. Even Meghan Trainor looked more comfortable in her video for 'NO'.

The video is a bit budget but then, who knows, maybe Zayn wanted the video to look like that? :unsure: It's actually my first time listening to 'Like I Would'. Doesn't help that the video looks like he's been placed on the X Factor stage and all of their fancy light effects have been used at once! If Zayn wanted the video to look like that he should a) leave it to the professionals b) look like he wants to be there if he was that invested in the production.

We all know from his stint on The X Factor back in 2010 that he's not much of a dancer. :kink:
May 25, 20169 yr is3Xq7M-rQc He REALLY needs to do something about his vocals, it's another car crash performance from him. The song isn't even that hard to sing but he's struggling so much, it's not pleasant to hear. :(

May 27, 20169 yr What's also tragic is the chart performance of this :drama: PILLOWTALK is nearing 700k but this isn't even at 150k yet and the video hasn't really given it any boost either. Definitely didn't expect him to struggle so much so soon after the debut single.

If it doesn't look like he's enjoying performing, why should anyone else enjoy it? :lol: I wouldn't say the vocal was a car crash by any means. There are other singers who get away with completely abysmal live vocals - while the likes of Britney gets away with miming even in this day and age.
May 27, 20169 yr Zayn and Britney are totally different artists with different styles of music, I'm not sure you can really compare their performing styles. Zayn doesn't have extensive choreography in his songs, nor does he require it, hence why he needs good live vocals. Britney's live vocals leave a lot to be desired really so if miming makes the dancing better and an excellent performance is delivered, so be it. I'd rather watch Britney mime and totally bring it with the dancing than Zayn struggle to sing a simple song live with very minimal choreography.
