I'm expecting it to click at some point for me because I thought it may be a grower, but hearing it played amongst the autoqualifiers last night, it just cements to me how weak it really is especially when you look at what's surrounding it. I don't doubt it'll do well though.

The home crowd went nuts for this in the arena last night. Baffling. This is in spite of him being a grade a c**t. Did the BBC show the bit from the green room last night where Måns made the joke "Spain, France and Frans" and he stood there sneering.

Still gutted for Ace and Molly. Måns did not win for this shit.

Glad he got received well in the arena, the hate for him/this song seem a bit much really and the general public seem to be here for it. I mean, how often in recent years has a Eurovision entry other than our own managed to chart in the UK top 200 pre-contest? Even our own hasn't this year. It's probably my song of the year anyway and I am totally backing him all the way.

But yes, the BBC did show that bit, I wouldn't say he was sneering really :heehee:

I think people forget Frans is only 17, the constant hate and dislikes on all his YouTube videos makes me quite uncomfortable. In the several interviews I've seen he does come across shy and maybe a bit abrupt at times, not on purpose though I'm sure, but he is only 17 and I think people - especially the YouTube haters - need to remember this is a 17 year old boy who is still at school.

I dont think being 17 gives him any more right to come across as the arrogant kid he does. Whether he is 47 or 13, the song remains awful

(That said tho, is he really 17, he looks about twice that)

I don't really think he's arrogant at all tbh  and of course it's each to their own based on the song but you can't deny that it's had a pretty great impact in Europe so far, bodes well for a good result on Saturday!
(I never denied that anyway, idg where ur coming from)

Bit of a long shot but does anyone have an MP3 of Lady Perrelli's Har Star Jag?

Ive literally looked everywhere but cant find it. I would even resort to purchasing it but its not even on UK ITunes!

There is a cover version of 'If I Were Sorry' on Spotify from... Dinah Nah

#61 in the UK... (#39 on sales)

Not amazing but the fifth year in a row that the Melodifestivalen winner has made the UK top 75, and indeed the only Eurovision song to chart this year, as Joe and Jake miss by a few places.

2012 - Euphoria - #3

2013 - You - #72

2014 - Undo - #40

2015 - Heroes - #11

2016 - If I Were Sorry - #61

Popular was very close in 2011, charting at 76.
