Popjustice have been hyping this song for months, I have really high expectations! That said I feel like they should re-release Be The One, it's taken off worldwide and soon the UK will be the only country in Europe and Australia where this hasn't charted. Also it's on an advert I've seen a few times. I guess if Hotter Than Hell can't break her through then a Be The One re-release may happen over summer once it really has smashed all of Europe and Australia!

I really don't hold popjustice's raving in high esteem anymore, on the quality of their top picks for their new music friday's leaves a lot to be desired.

nonetheless that lady has a huge amount of potential, she strikes me as a more kinetic and spirited lana del rey

Bit strange that 'last dance' didn't do much.

it was released primarily for buzz to get her name out there and established, it'll inevitably have a re-release over summer/autumn i'd imagine

personally I think they should re-release be The One, #1 in The Neteherlands right now, top 10 in many EU countries, even top 10 in Australia too
Ohh... I thought that was 'Be The One'. Oh well... Bring on the next single :)

my mistake! though the same argument stands, it's just a matter of building name and familiarity before (hopefully) blowing us away, in the same way years & years did with 'king' for example...

'Last Dance' is a really good song, a bit disappointing that it has done absolutely nothing in the charts.

This sounds absolutely perfect for summer, a chilled vibe in the verse followed by a build-up in the chorus to a tropical-esque post-chorus!

Hotter than Hell is fantastic in full. Just you wait. Such a step up from Last Dance.
Very very basic. Not bad, but nowhere near as good as Be The One or even Last Dance really.
Baffled at some of the negative responses here, this was love on first listen for me, leaps and bounds ahead of the incredibly weak Last Dance and possibly even better than Be the One too. A huuuuge pop track, she's surprised me!

I am a bit confused by Dua just now.

It is as if 'Last Dance' and this are from a completely different artist from 'Be The One' and 'New Love' and I don't really know how to take it.
