Like fellow undergrad Asher Roth, Posner began making melodic pop-rap songs for the college crowd, filling his music with references to fraternity culture, dorm life, and young adulthood. He also compiled several mixtapes, one of which -- A Matter of Time -- topped the digital charts during the summer of 2009. After signing with J Records, he finished his degree, graduated with a 3.59 GPA, and released his full-length debut, 31 Minutes to Takeoff, in the summer of 2010. The album featured the worldwide hit "Cooler Than Me," and reached the Top Ten in the U.S. J Records dissolved soon after, and Posner moved to the parent label, RCA, but only after some legal wrangling, which was referenced in the title to his 2011 mixtape, The Layover. His career with RCA officially began late that same year with the December release of "Looks Like Sex." Two more singles, "The Way It Used to Be" and "Top of the World" (featuring Big Sean), followed in 2013 as preludes to his second official album, Pages. - iTunes Chart history - Top 100 (Year peak title): 2010 05 Cooler Than Me -1- 2011 04 With Ur Love (Cher Lloyd Feat. She started her career as a singer in the local Adelaide acid jazz band Crisp in the mid-1990s. In 1997, when Crisp disbanded, she released her debut studio album titled OnlySee on Flavoured Records in Australia. Following the event, she moved to London, England and provided lead vocals for British duo Zero 7. In 2000, Sia signed to Sony Music's sub-label Dance Pool and released her second studio album, Healing Is Difficult, the following year. Displeased with the promotion of the record, she signed to Go! Beat and released her third studio album, Colour the Small One, in 2004. Dissatisfied with the project's struggling to connect with a mainstream audience, Sia relocated to New York City in 2005 and began touring across the United States. Sia released her fourth and fifth studio releases, Some People Have Real Problems and We Are Born, in 2008 and 2010, respectively. In 2014, Sia released her sixth studio album, 1000 Forms of Fear, which was preceded by the top-ten single "Chandelier". On 29 January 2016, she released her seventh studio album This Is Acting. Sia's music incorporates hip hop, funk and soul as a base for her vocal styling. In 2014, she was ranked the 97th richest Australian person under the age of 40 by BRW magazine, with a reported net worth of AU$20 million. Her music has received an array of accolades, including ARIA Awards and MTV Music Awards. - Wikipedia Chart history - Top 100 (Year peak title): Sia 2000 10 Taken For Granted -1- 2000 82 Little Man -2- 2001 91 Drink to Get Drunk -3- 2001 30 Destiny (Zero 7 Feat. The three members of the group -- Matthew Russell, Trevor Dahl, and Kevin Ford -- each have deep roots in L.A., working on individual projects before joining forces for Cheat Codes (Dahl once performed as singer/songwriter Pluginstereo). Their different backgrounds helped inform Cheat Codes' stylistically varied sound, which can range from warm pop to outright big house bangers. After the release of "Visions," they quickly followed with the tropical-tinged "Don't Say No" (featuring Dresses), "Senses" (featuring Lostboycrow), and "Adventure" (featuring Evan Wartner). As they gained social media exposure, they joined the Chainsmokers on tour. Successive singles continued to drop into 2016, when they unveiled "Sex" (featuring Kris Kross Amsterdam), which borrowed the sentiment and chorus from the Salt-N- Pepa classic "Let's Talk About Sex." - iTunes Biography - Kris Kross Amsterdam Named in tribute to the early-'90s adolescent rap duo Kris Kross, Dutch DJ collective Kris Kross Amsterdam was created by brothers Jordy and Sander Huisman in 2011 when the duo established a club night in order to play the music they grew up with rather than the popular dance music that dominated the club scene. Spinning a diverse mix of R&B, hip-hop, funk, and house, the concept turned out to be a success, and the duo sold out many club nights in Amsterdam. After several years of gigs and mixtapes, as well as establishing a clothing line, the duo began collaborating with MC Yuki Kempees and working on original material in 2014. Kris Kross Amsterdam signed to Spinnin' Records and released the trap-tinged R&B single "Until the Morning" in 2015. Second single "SEX" followed in early 2016, a quasi-cover of Salt-N-Pepa's "Let's Talk About Sex" featuring assistance from Los Angeles' Cheat Codes. - iTunes Chart history - Top 100 (Year peak title): Cheat Codes 2016 xx Sex (Cheat Codes x Kris Kross Amsterdam) -NAS- Kris Kross Amsterdam 2016 xx Sex (Cheat Codes x Kris Kross Amsterdam) -NAS- Discussion Thread Here

April 23, 201610 yr Drake book-ending the top 10 for a second straight week, wonderful stuff. At least a fresher chart this week (though not in terms of the the show itself). We can be nearly certain Panda, Middle & Hair will probably be played next week/week after along with I'm predicting just the one Prince track. Personally I'm surprised at how quickly What Do You Mean is falling. Spent half the year in the top 20 & now won't even clock up as many top 40 weeks as Ho Hey!
