Creep is honestly one of my favourite horror films, so creepy and atmospheric. The underground is a great setting for it!

Here we have a Wikipedia winner, Israel being the first on the list that hasn't had a win (they've had the most nominations without a win - 10). Mexico is right below on said list with 8 nominations (maybe Regina & Richie going for Mexico is the influence of Alejandro G. Iñárritu?), Yugoslavia had 6, Norway have had 5. The UK, another answer to score points, has interestingly had 2 nominations for Welsh language movies. Spain have had four wins. Would've thought India had been more successful, the prominence of Bollywood makes them feel quite 'big' on a movies scale (after the UK & US). I really have no explanation for Lee's answer.

I did this without Googling anything anyway and only knew answers for like half of them. In retrospect, I probably should have remembered the whole 'black people being snubbed at the Oscars' thing.

The Dark Knight winning is no surprise here, being released after the death of Heath Ledger who was awarded the Oscar for this performance, but I did think Furious 7 (released after the death of Paul Walker) might be closer given how recent it is (and another big franchise). The third installment of Night At The Museum (Robin Williams) and Eye In The Sky (current release, starring the late Alan Rickman) both score too. Richie goes for the wrong Heath Ledger movie and Bré for the wrong Alan Rickman movie (also if we were to be technical, the question uses past tense and the Alice movie is still to be released). Both parts of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay were released after the death of Philip Seymour Hoffman but I'd say his character wasn't as pivotal as those played by Heath and Paul. I do hope Lee isn't trying to kill off Bill Murray (jk, I'm reading that Garry Shandling died last month and he voices Ikki in the current version).

Will add the scores tomorrow!

Thanks Jahq, fantastic questions and looking forward to seeing the scores tomorrow

Next up to host is me as I finally have time to host one of these games because of half term! And it's going to be a bumper one with a bumper pointless (that will be going up in the next 15 minutes) which has a duel theme of 2016 and general questions. And I am also going to trial a new game which will either be up within the next hour or tomorrow!

6/10 top answers. Not my best, but should hopefully see me on the upper half of the scoreboard. Thanks Jack!
Thanks Jahq for doing this! A pretty disastrous showing here, going to accept that Pointless is moreso my forté in the Movies forum :kink:
Oh dammit, why didn't I say The Dark Knight? I was even considering that as an answer

The ties - both appear to have the same number of top answers but if anyone really wanted them separated, I guess Jonjo and Dobbo both scored on more questions than Josh and Bray?

Thanks to all for participating!
