Yup, found it the other day just to see what the fuss the NME is making about it.

 

The video is just as bad as the song, how the Delorean at the end gets all smashed up isn't explained.

But the This Mortal Coil song is a classic, only made the top 75 in the 80's but is a cult classic. Spent ages on the indie chart too.

 

It's up on youtube, usually the first thing that comes up after you type the band name in, not really a band tho- more of a side project of all the artists on the 4AD roster at the time.

 

The song was originally by Tim Buckley.

I'm pretty sure that America has only been avaliable to download form itunes since about wednesday. :o I think it was Tuesday night that I checked itunes to see were it was but it wasn't anywhere and the only way you could get the track was by doqnloading the album.

As for Razorlight - America, I love the track. :lol:

The songs ok, never beat Something Else and Vice, but i think this could be number one

 

But as much as i like some of their stuff, i do find Razorlight incredibly overrated am i the only one thats thinks this..........

 

I bought the single to this today and 'Teenage Logic' is suprsingly excellent. Why this was left off the album I'll never know.

No.1 in first midweeks so hope it holds on .
