May 15, 20169 yr It looks like we *just* scraped the mark for a bigger final (assuming all the confirmed countries have valid entries in time for the semi-finals lol), phew ~ I have sent something quite risky again so I may need those 5 extra Q slots! (Although it might have enough niche appeal to comfortably go top 15 in a semi anyway, or it could just bomb out entirely regardless. We'll see I guess). I feel like, in the event we do get a contest with only 60 entries, maybe the number of qualifiers per semi could just be changed to 19 instead of dropping right back down to 15 (and perhaps with a similar gradual reduction in the number of qualifiers for numbers lower than that)? Relying on a 61st confirmer to have 10 extra finalists seems like a bit of an extreme cutoff point.
May 15, 20169 yr I'll be particularly gutted if I don't qualify with my song, it's the first song I've ever sent where I don't think it could suffer to being in the wrong semi, it has broad appeal to it and is an undeniable jam so I'm probably more confident in it's chances than I've been about pretty much all my entries, I don't wanna jinx it though :kink:

Very different to our usual entries (Indie/Alternative) and has gone down a storm with everyone who's heard it so far so hope it does well :heart: (And cause I've had it on repeat for the last hour and am obsessed! 💙)
May 16, 20169 yr Author I'm hoping to get them posted tonight (sans some graphics which I'll stealthily add throughout the week), but I need to get home first to make sure everything is OK with the final song list. If that's fine then hopefully around 8-9pm, but if there is a problem then it might be a Beyonce job at like half 11 or something! :lol:

[expect for Dobbo, the only reason we all knew what his entry was last time was because he hinted it, I believe, in a personal chart thread]. oh, and Cor Lupus, if their last entry was anything to go by I am so HYPED for this. and I really hope my entry goes down OK, I don't want it to be labelled generic as I fear it will be. I'm relatively sure I can go one better than BJSC 83 and qualify this time though :lol:

May 16, 20169 yr who all seem to have been surprisingly incognito about their entries this month. I mean, that is kind of in the rules - level playing field and all (and why we should cast out and ostracise those heathens who whore out their entries to more than a couple of people). Hoping as always I can convert people away from their usual genres and expectations but it is in fairly familiar Séyetan territory this time - though who knows what that means anymore.
