Certainly seems quite possible

Went back to see what all the fuss was about Australia and that really is quite an impressive live performance. Looking forward to seeing that in full on Saturday.

Ukraine / Jamala - 1944 / Well, there seems to be a favourite every year that I don't really get and I guess that's gonna have to be the one for this year. Went over my head, rather lacking to these ears. 4/10

Oh my god. Again, blown away. This semi's highs are soooooo on point

Oh yes Jamala, that was SUBLIME.

 

Maybe that DOES deserve its contender status after all, I haven't been considering it because it doesn't seem that way but she performed that exceptionally. Subtle beauty.

I rather liked the Ukraine song, but not impressed with Norway.

Im on catch up,Nicky performed well for Ireland but the staging was awful,whoever stages the Irish entries should be fired as they get it wrong every year.Sweden have gave a fantastic stage andiI'm gutted how underused it was by Ireland.

Really loved this also but gosh at those verse/chorus production changes!

Norway were a bit generic and non-standout, wouldn't be surprised if that were out. It's such a misfire after a run of great entries.

Found that really jarring - chorus felt way too slowed down and just didn't work. Excellently sung though.

 

Really willing Ukraine to qualify.

Norway / Agnete - Icebreaker / What an odd song! Very clunky and mis-matched, but it definitely grabbed my attention and I was really enjoying it by the end. A highlight of the night and because of its oddness, it somehow makes it appealing and something I'll want to go back to after the show. 7.5/10

Norway sounded so messy, but I liked it a lot

 

Really really enjoyed Ukraine as well. Phenomenal song, stunning vocals and you could feel emotion

Norway were underwhelming. The song grew on me a lot. The chorus is weird but the verses are fabulous. The performance however fell flat. Lacked the oomph. Bring back Margaret plz

 

Okay so the last three songs are quite shit so I can relax now.

 

What a TENSE semifinal!

Norway's song is such a grower, but I hope it's done enough to be safe anyway. I'd love to see it again.

This is the sort of song you never expect to see at Eurovision and it's beautiful.
