During the next month or so, I'll be counting down my Top100 songs of the 90s in my opinion.

I have picked 10 songs from each year to be included on this. 10 from 1990 and so on until 1999 similar to my 00s countdown last year.

So stay tuned and enjoy the countdown.

SMOKIE FT ROY 'CHUBBY' BROWN- LIVING NEXT DOOR TO ALICE (WHO THE F*** IS ALICE)

We start the countdown with Smokie and controversial blue comedian Roy 'Chubby Brown' parody version of Living Next Door To Alice. I just think that it is quite a good track from them and sometimes you may feel like that about a neighbour.

EMINEM- MY NAME IS

#2

1999

The song that introduced to Marshall Mathers 'Slim Shady' aka Eminem.

The Mavericks and Backstreet Boys bring back many childhood memories :)

One of my fave MJ tracks actually! Always been underappreciated IMO. (P.S. that BGT audition is one of my all-time faves)

LOVE The Joker, what a stunning track

The Mavericks are one of my dad's favorite bands, I was surprised to see they had such a big hit in the UK, they never did in the US!

'As Long As You Love Me' is the first song I ever heard from the Backstreet Boys and I'm still very fond of it.

'They Don't Care About Us' is a standout from MJ and 'The Joker' is a classic, great to see here! Can't say I was a fan of Eminem until 2000.

An old school house classic at 93 here with Crystal Waters. This was sampled last year by rapper Nick Brewer.

They Don't Care About Us & My Name Is

My Name Is is one of my favourites from Eminem but he has so many other classics as well.

R.E.M- EVERYBODY HURTS

#8

1993

A truly beautiful emotional song this was R.E.M. This was also to got to #1 thanks to Helping Haiti in 2010 it was for a good cause but it was nowhere near anything like the original. A very powerful message this sends out.
