INCREDIBLE!

Would of loved them to get 100k but 96k is AMAZING! :cheer: I think they will keep selling decent amounts right until Christmas now.

This really puts into context how incredible this era (and really how incredible it's all been since the start of Black Magic) has been. Wow, such an amazing time to be a big fan of the girls

YESSSS. Another day where I feel proud to have voted for them so much on the X Factor. WORTH EVERY CALL (In a pre-app voting world)
Are the girls first group to have their first 4 albums debut in top 4 of Official Charts? Or did some ancient group do it before?

Lmao!!!! The posters on Buzzjack are not going to be fan's of you  (Spice Girl loons will attack)

96k+ is a fantastic opening week for 'Glory Days' - so proud of them!

They should hopefully stay at #1 for a second week. I reckon 100k+ is very likely in the Christmas week as well.

Crazy to think that Glory Days has the 4th highest opening week sales for a girl group album in U.K. chart history

Spice Girls didn't even make 4 albums

But yeah, I think the first four albums top 4/5 thing might be true. (obviously not including Beatles) Or at least one of them. I'm sure there are some bands like Metallica and Guns N Roses or something.

All 4 of Spice Girls albums went top 5 if you include GH
I've just counted their 3 albums.

Amazing debut week! :cheer:

The album debuted at #19 in the US according to HDD (site similiar to Billboard). Also it debuted at #15 in pure sales with 15k copies sold. Down from GW's 22k, but this time they didn't have a single on the radio or any promotion so the numbers are solid !

Great start in the UK, im a little disappointed they were beaten to number 1 here in Ireland as i was sure they would have got their 2nd number 1 album here, hopefully it will climb to number 1 at some point.

Good week overall in Ireland though,

Glory Days number 2

DNA climbs 7 places to number 47

Get Weird climbs 2 places to number 92.

Only 17% of Glory Days' sales were Digital! Goes to show how little the album charts matter on iTunes.

By modern standards that's incredible!

I don't think Weeknd will outsell them. He only opened with like 35k last time. I can see him doing 50k at best. With Little Mix doing possibly up to 60k.

Yea but he got bigger in the meantime. Also he is expected to have the biggest streaming week in histroy in the US, don't expect similiar numbers in the UK, but I still think it'll be big on Spotify.

Yep, seems I was right. His first day numbers are great on Spotify! He'll definitely be the #1 album this week.

But he's number 6 in the first midweeks lol.
