June 6, 20169 yr Since Capital is a commercial radio station, it will unfortunately always play music by the hottest artists of the moment - regardless of whether a song is good/a bit different to the rest of the playlist. The frustrating thing is that there are a lot of songs out there that are catchy and instant enough to smash if they had Capital on board - one example that I've mentioned before is 'Losing You' by Solange (I'm sure there are lots of others too) - but it is like the Capital playlist team don't really look for exciting new music to play - it's just the flavours of the year.

While we're sharing then, here's a recent one I made then to sum up May's new music/stuff I listened to It's not exactly pop all of it, some more indie stuff in there, but very listenable :) If you go onto the profile there's also ones for March and April, I do one at the end of every month. June is in progress!
