Posted June 17, 20169 yr New track from Christina Aguilera called "Change", which is available to purchase on iTunes. http://a4.mzstatic.com/eu/r30/Music30/v4/a0/3b/2f/a03b2f86-1a02-55d8-1c86-56a7b0ac170f/cover600x600.jpeg
June 17, 20169 yr Is this Orlando related? Sounds like a tribute song written especially, but maybe I'm just reading too much into it? Nice message if it is and amazing to hear her voice again but she can do way better and I hope it's not for the new album.
June 17, 20169 yr Ah, well that's lovely then and I'll buy it in support of the cause. The song itself is a little Sam Smith-type basic ballad for me but it does have some lovely moments and I love her voice on ballads so much.
June 17, 20169 yr It has a lovely little melody and I love the tone and...control (:o) in her voice, but I just find the lyrics rather basic. That sort of theme has been exhausted so it's not enough to settle with school-like poetry. Obviously it's for a fantastic cause and I'll probably give it a purchase too but, just as Davidson put it, she can do much better and I hope this is just a standalone single rather than for the new album (although I'd like her to continue the subtle and controlled tone).
June 18, 20169 yr #12 in the US right now. It was played on CNN while they broadcast a photo of each Orlando victim to close the tragic week of news. Apparently Hilary Clinton might be using the song for her campaign.
June 18, 20169 yr I think the fact that it's a touching song for a terribe tragedy and is raising money to help those affected is a bit more important than a chart position right now.
June 20, 20169 yr I think the fact that it's a touching song for a terribe tragedy and is raising money to help those affected is a bit more important than a chart position right now. Umm the higher it goes in the chart, the more money it raises for the victims' families.....?
