Hostage situations are always so terrifying to hear about. :( Glad to hear that none of the victims were killed.

It's getting harder to know what to say about these sort of attacks. It feels like repeating condolences and saying how tragic the situation is isn't worth much anymore now that this is happening every so many weeks.

There aren't any condolences to express since nobody died. Although it is sad that this kind of thing is now happening on a regular basis.
