I think This Girl losing the iTunes number 1 effect means it's chances of toppling One Dance even if it does close the gap on streaming is now totally f***ed.

So happy to see M.O entering the Top 40!!! Major proud moment. :cheer:

If it flops Calvin will brush it under the carpet along with 'Off The Record' and get on with it! I can't see it doing much better than it already has been tbh.

This is actually looking like it could be a hit for them! So deserved after 11 single releases (!!), I know some of the 11 were buzz singles but feels like they have been trying for so long especially as 'Dance On My Own' and 'Preach' both were Top 40 in the mids when they were released but missed out.

Nice to see the top 10 a bit fresher, some deadwood falling away, I personally like to see The Chainsmokers track get a week at #1 in the official chart instead of the Jonas Blue and Calum Scott's tracks, mind you both tracks are far behind on streams... phew!!!
One Dance is down to 42.97 yet it's on course for another week at the top, stupid.
I do like Artists setting records and stuff but when it comes to good music just missing out (Sia, Calvin & Rihanna, JT and Kungs), we could have had 4 other #1's. It had to happen sometime anyway where acts will probably stay longer at #1 but 13 weeks is just too much and probably 2 more weeks to add. I'm sure back at the time when Bryan Adams was out, everyone was moaning, "oh great, another week for Bryan Adams".

The overall top 40 effect really giving it momentum now.

Well the Bryan song is a boring slushy love ballad whereas One Dance is a total jam, so in a way it would be nice for Drake to match or beat that record. It's not like we're going to have another chance of this happening in the next few years, even with the #1 turnover being very slow at the moment it seems Drake's lengthy run at #1 is the exception rather than the norm (which appears to be about 4-6 weeks at #1)

Drake is beginning to drop quite a bit on Spotify, down 20,000 streams from this time last week. Meanwhile Jonas Blue is beginning to develop a big lead on ITunes and is beginning to make big strides with streaming.

Kungs are also increasing on spotify, closing the gap on Drake. The thing about Kungs is they've only narrowly lost the number to 1 Drake each week. If Drake does continue to drop on spotify and Kungs can hold/increase they could pip him in either of the next two weeks.

Kungs are dropping on ITunes but in relation to Drake, he's only 0.53 on them, little change.

He should release the music video for the song next week.To give it some extra boost in streaming & sales.

Maybe now is a good time to drop the Justin Bieber remix of One Dance to iTunes and Spotify too :kink:

Shawn Mendes seems to be taking a while to climb back after the two versions have been combined :(
