Well Katy's just ASKING to not be #1 with a silly decision like not putting herself on Spotify.

I don't think Katy will be on Spotify for another week at least with all the promo iTunes is giving her. Doesn't Apple Music barely make up any of the streaming data included?

I wish Britney was ahead of Katy like she is in most other countries. But Britney is just nowhere near as relevant as Katy here, hopefully Make Me is given a chance on radio, and the song can do the talking.

no matter how good or commercially appealing 'Make Me' is (haven't heard it yet) I'm 95% sure radio won't give it a chance because Britney is 'old' and 'irrelevant'.

 

It's 99.9% likely Radio 1 won't playlist it anyway.

I was a bit worried that after Katy has been gone for so long, she wouldn't be able to take a hold of the charts the way she is doing now, so it's good to see!

 

Britney is up to #6, I know it's low sales but I didn't think the UK would really care enough to get her into the top 10 without any support.
