September 12, 20168 yr It's a shame as its the best material she's had for nearly 10 years (some say ever) yet the promo and passion are as shit as ever. The passion IS there though, when she's actually done promo she's been way more invested and impassioned than she has for years.
September 12, 20168 yr Also, let's not call Britney a HALF ASSER this era. The last two albums were half assed, THIS is not. I mean did y'all just wake up from a coma and think this is the follow up to 'Blackout'? Lmfao.
September 12, 20168 yr THAT pisses me off. Let's not act like this woman has not come LEAPS AND BOUNDS in her mental health as well as the brand Britney Spears. To pretend as if it's all rubbish because of a performance being pre recorded is f***ing dumb. The Femme Fatale tour? Britney Jean I WANNA GO IN PERU? Edited September 12, 20168 yr by Tyler
September 12, 20168 yr Author Iheartradio were NOT supporting her like they should have been. Playing a song once or twice a day is not iheart radio's usual when a headliner has a new release. Also, last year had pre recorded performances? I feel bad for my fellow fans. But f*** iheart radio. Kiis were playing it like 8 times a day! Z100 were less supportive but still usually managed about 4 plays. Agree that this era has not been half assed though! Everything has been done so well, apart from the video and the majority of radio outside iheart.
September 12, 20168 yr This is the most promo she's done for an era since the 'Circus' era, 8 years ago. This is NOT half arsed! You can tell with her interviews that she's much more passionate speaking, talking about and actually promoting this album due to actually being fully invested herself. The difference is amazing. It's like she's a completely different person since the meltdown, completely! This is not the Britney we've known for the last Decade and it's all the better for it. She's still performing, albeit not "live" and pre-recorded, but at least it's something. In all honesty, the iTunes festival SHOULD take priority due to it being one of the only promo performances (that we know of) in the UK/that isn't in America. I hate it when stuff like this happens coz I feel like we'll just get told to "stan down" or "loon the f*** down" when we're not looning at all. We're just in an incredible place as Britney fans right now. She's so much more attached to this era and it's showing. One performance "cancellation" isn't gonna change that. I feel like radio stations have FAR too much power anyway, nowadays. Not just in the US (where I can sort of understand why (but don't necessarily agree) due to it counting to the charts), but the general ignorance in the UK (and I'm sure other places) too! Not just for Britney but for other artists as well. If iHeart want to be mardy and ungrateful about it, then screw 'em. It annoys me that the charts are so heavily reliant on streaming and radio services now. Capital are really bad for dropping a song of their playlist if that performer doesn't show up or perform at their scheduled event etc.. despite the song still doing well in the charts at that point etc..
September 12, 20168 yr Its a shame cause the performance for I-HeartRadio could guarantee her some support for her second single. Its a weird feeling cause i HATE IHeartRadio/Clear Channel, the way they've ruined pop radio in america by making all the playlists sound the same - I remember 15-25 years ago radio had some personality and they could play whatever they wanted, and breakthrough the artists they wanted. You had cases of songs being big hits in certain regions but unknown in others. Now its like a sheep herd where all of them play the same songs to exhaustion Edited September 12, 20168 yr by Euphorique
September 12, 20168 yr I mean she recorded the performance on the 6th of September and I'm sure iHeart knew about that well in advance, possibly from the second it was booked. This is a revalation to us but not iHeart, so there's probably a good chance they're not pissed off about this. And it's not really a proper festival so it's not really embarrassing in the way pre-recording a performance at an actual festival like Glasto would be.
September 12, 20168 yr Leave it to Britney fans to make a mountain out of a mole hill. This time last year we were begging for radio interviews.

September 12, 20168 yr There's literally not one single thing you could complain about in this case. Literally none.
September 12, 20168 yr I'm not thrilled about this either, but half-assed, really? This era has been anything but. She's doing more promo than absolutely any of us expected (who thought we'd get VMAs again!? Carpool Karaoke? iTunes Festival???), the music is outstanding and you can tell this is what Britney has been wanting to do for a long time. Apart from this blip this era has been flawless, she has gone above and beyond. Some people aren't fans, they're just waiting for something stupid like this to happen.

September 14, 20168 yr omg, that's really sad actually...I just hope she's not going to feel insecure again about performing to shows/festivals etc etc. Watch out now canceling London too ;(
September 14, 20168 yr I think it's being pre-recorded because she has the iTunes Festival to do within a matter of days. She would need to fly out here and do a dress rehearsal.......and who knows maybe even some radio interviews before that.

September 25, 20168 yr So she killed it. It was like the Billboard awards but she was 10x more confident Only performed 'Make Me' (with 'Me Myself & I') and 'DYWCO' tho. Also performed; Work Bitch Womanizer Slave Stronger You Drive Me Crazy Toxic And I feel like I'm forgetting one... It was very good. A little stale for fans since we all follow Vegas tho.
