Been thinking about doing this for a while so... yeah I'm doing it. Just a thread where I'll post some of my favourite tunes of the moment, not necessarily will all be dance but I should imagine the vast majority will fall into that broad category. No specific frequency either just as & when I feel something is worthwhile sharing!

First up is...

A song I am LOVING right now. C-BooL is a Polish DJ & this particular song is sounding so good in the hot weather we've been blessed with of late. Quite a fitting song title given that link (for those who like hot weather of course).

GORGEOUS deep house track with strings (already in my good books) & even a french horn interlude. Essential track for me atm.

Sanna Nielsen's 'Undo' meets Alan Walker's 'Faded'. A very nice vocal over some uplifting synths!

can she just stop ripping off other people' sound? her best times were, um, 2009-2010, I guess.

Faded is unbeatable in that category, sorry. But vocals are nice, yep.

Yes I recall her track Single Lady from around those years which is quite good also.

Of course I agree it's not as good as Faded but I do prefer the vocals on this one. It's good that's there are songs of this ilk around at the moment though & that it's not just deep & tropical house dominating!

So this one I'd actually consider more indie than dance but there are subtle dancey elements to it. A Hungarian song with a pretty catchy melody considering I don't understand a word! Weird video but makes it all the more superior IMO.

Thank you man. I always trying to know what other people like to listen. You can always find something new and unusual.

More than welcome! I agree I find some fantastic songs looking at what other people share so hope others can do likewise with my own offerings :)

Back with 2 of my fave Spinnin' releases for a good while...

This is just SO feelgood! Don't hear a lot of joyous music anymore but this really hits the spot with its playful instrumentals.

As for this it's just an epic outpouring of energy! Love the tribal sound to this with, fittingly "The Chant", topped off by the thunderous production - it's an attention-grabber!

So how about an upbeat feelgood track complete with GERMAN vocals that more than bears a passing resemblance to Jonas Blue's Fast Car?

So this one I'm frankly adoring right now. Sampling Enya's 'Boadicea' & with Alex Aris bringing some STUNNING vocals to the table once again, this is how to take a sample & do something creative and different.

Generic as hell but catchy as hell too, DJ Antoine knocks it out the park again with some Russian assistance including Timati who featured on his most well-known track Welcome To St. Tropez back in 2011. This track reminds me of the sort of sound that was big around that time too, check it out!

well...you better check out the original one ;)

it ain't dance (yep) but miles better than Antoine's version...like worlds apart. Despite you won't uderstand a word cuz it's Russian obviously the original version makes much more sense, and it's rather beautiful after all (than stuff about chicks and money lol). Also what makes the original more attractive is Grigory Leps' voice being less...um...messy.

Back in 2009, Welcome To St. Tropez was released by Timati and made some noise in Russian music market (this version was rather chilly); the same (if not more) buzz was around DJ Antoine remix in 2011, with fluence across the Europe. Remix had it's own uniqueness, and people were buying/listening to it gladly. Can't say the same about London, sorry.

p.s. just forgot to say the main idea - yes, this sound would be greeted well some years ago, anyway I'm not sure if it's okay for our days.

Ah thanks for sharing this! Yes that is... quite a different sounding song altogether but really nice too.

I'm a sucker for his production despite him being by no means the best DJ, I remember loving Go With Your Heart a couple years back I played a lot at the time. St. Tropez meanwhile really should have been big in the UK but never made an impact :(

Back to deep house now & we have another Swiss artist in the shape of Nora En Pure. Tell My Heart is a vocal version of her instrumental Lake Arrowhead from earlier this year & I tell ya, this really is a delight. Another hint of Jonas Blue, this time Perfect Strangers, with some beautiful piano chords make this an essential for me right now.

I had no idea Nora En Pure was a female :o

'Tell My Heart' is brilliant, loved the instrumental version too.
