Geraldine to be Lisa's mum with Lisa finding out that her dad is in fact BILLY! Which will make Honey lose the plot, shag Jack and become the new HBIC when Ronnie leaves.

Whilst I applaud them for making an attempt to get us to think about caring about Kyle's exit, it really is shocking TV. It doesn't help that he has scarily skinny arms in comparison to his large frame.

if he's leaving saturday does that mean we don't even see him going?

I've really found myself tuning out of the show now, I dont even watch it when its left on in background.

 

I'm finding it so dull and nothing seems to be going on new just Phil living longer and longer and turning more into a fake tan advert, Ben shouting at everything, some naff xmas play storyline and Lee constantly looking like he's been told off for eating sweets before tea.

 

I was hoping it would of picked up by now but as much as I am for character driven storyline we also need that storyline to be interesting and faster paced, I'm really hoping it picks up at xmas but even with what I've seen and read it still sounds dull

That environmental health inspector was giving me life tbh.

 

Abi and her random abandoned Freddie Mercury also stealing the show.

 

Anyone else bothered that Whitney has just become a step ford wife? I mean, she's awfully demanding, why does she not have a job herself?

I thought it was a very poor episode last night. The small saving graces for me were the little reference to Freddie Mercury following 25 years since his death, Tina actually making a grown-up, moral decision in informing Kathy of Babe's plan, and the final scene with Roxy in the square.

I am finding it all really boring right now, Jack suddenly acting like Father of the year when he's only had Amy for like 6 months and Richard for 3. I also presume he has completely forgotten about Penny(?)

Jack is by far the worst regular character at the moment. I swear he wasn't this unlikable in his first stint - I mean, people really rooted for Ronnie and Jack as a couple back then.

Geraldine needs to be a full time cast member she is really slaying it for me :lol: Also its nice to see Ian Lavender in something, the last surviving cast member from Dad's Army.

It's getting ridiciulous how boring it is tbh.

 

I'm literally only watching to find things to take the piss out of at the moment.

I'm watching because I'm expecting good things to come from Christmas and New Year, which will hopefully set the trend for 2017. I can't imagine it's going to stay like how it is right now. Some of the character interactions are keeping my interest going, but then you get various sitcom-esque scenes to put up with which could not be further away from Eastenders' comedy.

I'm glad Ronnie realised what a dreadful idea having a New Year's Day wedding would be with all considered, because I certainly thought that.

i'm loving the Jane and Stacey scenes.

 

i have also decided Geraldine needs to be the new HBIC.
