Is that a new Metallica song I see? Mum will be shitting herself.
And maybe I just overanalyze - but it took us 24 hours and 38 minutes to reach three pages of the iTunes thread last week, compared to a very impressive 9 hours 30 minutes this week. Shows how less DEAD the charts are this week.

that would probably be the case for more mums, rather than Metallica

my mum's not a fan of either though.

She loves Metallica yet she's an avid Radio 1 listener and loves Olly Murs

The Ellie song is the best that out this week and that doesn't say THAT much. A lot of new songs but non of them is really an event for me. Like the new Shawn Mendes the most.

23. Mollie King - Back To You

It's great for her. It's a very decent start.

New releases:

20. Craig David x Sigala - Ain't Giving Up

23. Mollie King - Back to You

38. Michael Bublé - Nobody But Me

42. Ellie Goulding - Still Falling for You

51. Britney Spears - Do You Wanna Come Over?

55. Metallica - Hardwired

71. Shawn Mendes - Mercy

75. Craig David & Hardwell - No Holding Back

86. Cheat Codes & Dante Klein - Let Me Hold You (Turn Me On)

90. EXO - Lotto

115. CL - LIFTED

119. Metallica - Hardwired

126. Lower Than Atlantis - Work for It

189. Bon Iver - 22 (OVER S∞∞N) (Bob Moose Extended Cab Version)

So potential top 40 entries this week?

I'd expect Bob Marley to just crack it, and Ellie Goulding and Craig David are certainties, but I'm not sure if anything else will enter.

I'd say

Top 5 - Ellie Goulding

Top 30 - Craig David/Sigala

Top 75 - Mollie King

also Cheat Codes to get a big climb as they're now out on iTunes and HOPEFULLY Bob Marley finally cracks the top 40

Mollie coming for that FFTL solo superstar record ;)

Jokes aside, so pleased for her. Hope for future Saturdays music too with the right label backing.

I'd say

Ah I've just seen how well The Ocean is doing now, too. Hopefully that can also sneak in.

68. Craig David & Hardwell - No Holding Back

I forgot about this. I take it it's just another promo single for his album?

Oh, and is the Sigala track a full blown single or what?

I think the Sigala one is a proper single and the Hardwell one is just a promo track (or in this case the digital eqivalent of a B-side)
Oh, and is the Sigala track a full blown single or what?

The Sigala track has been released as a 'proper' single the one with Hardwell is an instant grat.
