Desbuanda will be permitted to participate in this BJSC edition as an exception. We must warn however that the principle of banning still remains (and it shouldn't be taken lightly just because Noah didn't vote on time last month) and that it will be enforced more strictly from now on as it's unfair on the participants who do spend time on dedicating their time to vote within the time frame.

Me too. While this is only self-diagnosing, I feel like my entry could potentially hit the sweet spot between something that's very me and 'smash' so I'm excited to see if that's the case.

 

The mod list is looking good I think, as soon as we get a replacement for Rebecca Black.

It's been enforced incredibly strictly already for the last year though? I think it's completely reasonable to apply the rules as they're written but allow discretion for clear extenuating circumstances like in this case or, for example, when you weren't able to vote earlier this year. I don't think anyone is going to be looking at these few 'exceptions' and suddenly thinking 'ok, I'm now gonna vote an hour late just for lolz'.
