i do understand the reasoning for my veto w/ the super high blog coverage/name recognition but srsly tho did "only recently released" actually count for points??? like is this applied to EVERY song which is recently released or was it like there was an expectation for mroe points??? can someone clear this up pls

It doesn't have any points next to it so it wasn't counted for veto points, it's just a general comment on the song (mind, I don't see how it's in any way relevant to point that out, but it didn't make any difference to the outcome (I assume lol))

Well a song that is recently released is more likely to potentially gather more hype in a period of a few days than a song that is two years old. Therefore that sort of comment is more of a mental note so that we are aware it could be a quickly changing situation.

Well it SEEMS that I've got through the veto now (que a mdh style 'oops I got vetoed) so I am very hyped for the semis to open, think I'm seriously in with a shot of a good placing with this one ~
