That's good news actually, she should be able to walk that category due to the relatively weak competition aside from Michelle Williams so she'll get her win so we could see one of Natalie Portman and Emma Stone win the main category. Then it gives the likes of Amy Adams/Jessica Chastain more chance to get a nomination too so hopefully that is the case when the Oscar noms do come out :D

It seems like there is a lot of competition this year?!

The female lead is PACKED. Viola made a good move.

I've just read that Dev Patel is now campaigning supporting for 'Lion' Ugh, just because the supporting categories seem to have an easier ride. The movie is about his character, he's playing the main character  (albeit I don't know what the ratio of flashbacks/present day is)

For some reason, I feel less confident about Aaron Taylor-Johnson at the moment and feel like someone else might sneak it which will be a shame :( I feel a bit like Lion is picking up a bit of hype at the moment too.

Also, I think best actress is tough to call. I still feel like Emily Blunt, Ruth Negga or Jessica Chastain could all make the cut.

Thought some people might like this, I love all the films but it was pretty funny. I liked 'Squid Words' and the La La Land costume design joke
