 at James Arthur being #4 with seemingly no promo or radio play?! Coming for the #1 :o

So unexpected that Spotify didnt even put

James Arthur on the new music Friday playlist ;)

Gaga at #11

Edited by Bjork

James Arthur could realistically reach #2 today - if he has a big update this morning. :o
I doubt it, Calum is miles and miles ahead when combined
The new years and years is out. Will be top 10 I think. Happy for James, the best song in the top 10. Spotify must put him at some platlists. No fair.

That's actually not true. Calum is only around 0.05 ahead of James when combined.

Yeah, I noticed that. Does anyone know what the criteria is for them adding songs to the NMF playlist? Or is it literally what the person who's compiling it feels like at the time? Surely James Arthur is a big enough name to include, especially as the song is half decent.

Ah yes good point Bjork - I forgot Dancing On My Own wasn't combined. Years and Years have had a decent start, climbing into the top 100.

I doubt it was purposely excluded from the playlist, maybe the compiler didn't realise it was out, who knows. It's not some Spotify vendetta when he was on some other countries' playlists.

Hoping Y&Y can climb nice and high, great song!

usually they include all big releases

but this week they missed James Arthur, Tori amos and Celine Dion

Anyone know why other record companies don't do an Alex Day these days and release multiple song versions? it's a no brainer if you want a top fourty and you've got a decent fanbase.

As I said Calum isn't miles ahead and not to forget James has a second version too at #81 so Calum is just about to lose his advantage.

Yes but were any of those even anticipated to a big release?

 03. James Arthur // Say You Won't Let Go

 46. Years & Years // Meteorite

The James Arthur One is amazing. IT needs to pick up on Spotify like now... and he will be preforming at the X Factor for sure!
