November 29, 20168 yr I see artwork on your latest chart – was this just a temporary issue? (Sorry – I didn't get an email notification for your reply here, so I didn't notice this until now.) You're right, all seems back to how it was before, must have been a small glitch, it reformatted how the charts displayed when I created them, I'll let you know if it happens again when I next compile my chart. Thanks Kurt. :)
December 10, 20168 yr I was just curious to know how everyone was getting on with Crownnote since it was first promoted on this site early Autumn. :o I think it is excellent, and it is proving to be an incredibly useful tool for my personal charts. For the record, I only commenced my personal charts a week or two before I was aware of Crownnote existence. I like how I can easily see what my top songs from the year are using the annual leaderboard, and this will prove an awesome tool for 2017. :) I'd like to personally thank Kurt for the hours of time and effort put into making the whole experience of Crownnote a positive one and for becoming a member of this community in 2016. ^_^ What do you think of Crownnote? Do you view other people's charts through this site? How could it be improved? B-)
January 15, 20178 yr Author I keep getting an error when my chart is compiled it it either won't show how many weeks or the peak position of the charting song.
January 15, 20178 yr Author I'd actually really like to see a chart run feature added for the chart also.
January 16, 20178 yr I keep getting an error when my chart is compiled it it either won't show how many weeks or the peak position of the charting song. Is the error you were seeing a popup message that mentions a 508 unused error? That's the one I'm seeing occasionally and I'm looking for a fix. Chart runs probably aren't feasible to add to the individual chart pages themselves because they'd slow down the page too much, but they are accessible from the song pages.

I Can't remember what the error is but I know it was giving me like 4 or 5 pop up messages. When I find find what it is again I'll let you know! :)
January 21, 20178 yr http://crownnote.com/charts/harryflynn0908...-chart-21012017 I finally did my first chart
February 2, 20178 yr One error which is annoying is when you've typed in your whole top 40 and then you get an error saying one of the numbers isn't there, or that a song doesn't exist, and then I have to re-type in my whole Top 40 :(
February 2, 20178 yr Here are all the errors I get. Thank you for these screenshots – I'm fairly certain this is due to the server hitting its resource limits (in a way, a good thing – it means the site is getting more traffic!), and I've sent in a support ticket to my hosting company to work on upgrading the server to have more space. One error which is annoying is when you've typed in your whole top 40 and then you get an error saying one of the numbers isn't there, or that a song doesn't exist, and then I have to re-type in my whole Top 40 :( Hmm, if you see this again, could you screenshot the error you see? If I'm understanding what you're explaining correctly, I thought I'd fixed that, so I'd like to confirm whether or not it's the same issue. (edit: never mind; I just saw it while editing someone else's. hmm.) Edited February 3, 20178 yr by Kurt
February 25, 20178 yr There seems to be a slight issue for entering Lana Del Rey's Love into a chart. There's nine different song nodes for it, but not a single one comes up when I type in "love".
July 14, 20186 yr I stopped quite a while ago, it already takes enough of my time to make my chart on Buzzjack let alone get around Crownnote too (had quite a few problems with it when I used it too) and the effort just wasn't worth it in the end.
July 14, 20186 yr Yeah I stopped around the start of the year, it's a great resource and database but it took way too much time to make (whereas I just use Excel to format my Personal Chart to Buzzjack's standards for me once I've ranked the songs).
July 16, 20186 yr Ah ok, that’s a shame as it’s an excellent concept, but yes it does cause additional work to compose when you’re already typing up your personal al chart on BuzzJack anyway. I shall not continue to use it myself then, and it would seem the creator of that site no longer visits BuzzJack anymore.
November 30, 20204 yr Just wanted to know if anyone here still makes use of this website as it’s been a while since I was serious about keeping a personal chart and I was debating whether I should make use of this platform again... I agree that it is time consuming especially when many here use spreadsheets to make their personal charts. Perhaps that’s why I was less inclined to revisit this platform straight away, but for what it offered I was impressed, but the. If I, being honest I don’t think I used it to view other people’s charts which sort of defeats the purpose of using it in the first place unless it’s to keep a personal database of your own chart entries I suppose. So does anybody else here still use Crownnote?
November 30, 20204 yr Author I was reading this thread the other day. I can pin it again if you'd like, I'm gonna start using it again once I get my laptop.
November 30, 20204 yr There have been a few times I've considered trying it again but there still doesn't seem to be an easy way of porting my Excel charts in, and the last blog post on there was in December 2017 which sort-of makes me think it's been forgotton about.
