After ages of adding one in two songs in my top 100 this week, I've finally added my chart;

  • Four songs (Under Pressure, Dancing On My Own, Faded and Ghost) have different artists.
  • My chart has been published five times.

However, when I added last week's chart, the positions did update, so that's good.

Hooray! I'm glad to see this gaining traction!

As Kurt said, it's still in beta, so there's some kinks to be worked out still. That said, he's been working hard to add new features to the site. In fact, the "last week changes" feature was added very recently!

I'll try to follow some of the peeps from here! If you want to see my daily updates, you can follow me as well! I have the same username as I do here.

EDIT: I see some people are leaving duplicate charts... You can delete them from the edit section, actually :P

I'll add in my new chart tomorrow to the website if I'm not too hungover  I'm legit on my way to a wedding reception soon 🤗
This is slightly doing my head in for now, although I'm gonna properly get my head around it tomorrow :D
just added 2 of my charts, this week's and last week's. on this week's chart, it lists all the songs as new rather than showing their position changes from last week, so i feel i may have done something wrong? (maybe because i posted this week's chart before last week's? idk.) nvm, i edited it and it seems to have fixed itself.

this is a cool idea though, will be making use of it!

edit: oh and if you guys are inputting songs manually like i did, you can search the songs and look up their pages, and if you hover over the like button, the NID should be in the url preview, which you should be able to match when you choose one of the song suggestions.

Yeah, if everything shows as new, resaving it and/or last week's charts should resolve it. Working on the ability to have those rescan every night or something. What you said about song NIDs is correct too, though eventually it'll show the artist and album title below once you've selected a song so you'll know if your selection was correct.

I've also signed up and have the same problem as Taylor. No email in main or junk

I got a "mail delivery failed" message when your registration email was supposed to go out - if you want to PM me your correct email address, I'll fix your account.

I do find it bizarre that my Gmail account considered an authenfication email spam when my previous Mail account let a "Simple cure for Diabetes" spam email into the main emails.

Hmm, me too - I'll see if there's anything I can do about that on my end. (It might just be that it didn't come from a @crownnote.com email address since I haven't set one up yet.)

I am trying to make a chart but when I publish it I get:

Song: found no valid post with that title.

Several times  :(

As others have said, you'll need to create the song before you can include it in your chart. I've updated the help text below the Songs field to help make that a little more clear. (More documentation is coming soon too.)

I'm trying to import again and it's not working. It says the last import was 21 hours ago too so it can't be just me.

I tried an old import and it went through - are you getting an error message?

After a good while I've finally posted one, however I'm unsure how to add climbs/drops/weeks on chart.

Climbs/drops get added automatically (as I said above, if they all show as New, try resaving it and the previous week's chart for now); weeks on chart and peak aren't done yet (that's why all of them show "26" and a blank right now, lol; only temporary).

I'll take a look in the logs to see if I can determine how it would've published your chart multiple times, because I haven't seen that happening yet, but as Jeff pointed out, you can delete the duplicates.

No error message. I add the .csv file, and then when I press import the page just refreshes, and I have to re-add the file if I want to press import again.

Thanks for the assistance, it's working fine now.

Aha - remove the apostrophes from your file name and it'll import. I added some text to clarify that on the import pages.

Posted my first chart!

Looking forward for the chart-runs and week features to be working and is there a way I can add the movement's (e.g. up 2, down 4 etc) into my chart now?

Add last week's chart. Unfortunately, the site seems to have crashed (or something), so you'll need to wait a bit.

Actually, I think I'll use the duplicates to add in previous charts, since you can move the songs about.

The site's back up now!

oh thanks. I'll rename it Thermos Hot Hits then for my next import.

This is an excellent idea and resource - there are a few issues in adding charts (it seems to add a chart each time you preview leading to duplicates) but otherwise its a huge thumbs up from me. If I had the time I would like to archive my charts as it looks like you can do that quite easily!
Oh by the way, when you compose a new chart do you have to create it completely seperately or can you base it on a template of the last chart (if that makes sense?)

Slight issue:

In the leaderboard, when a song has two main artists, or two featured artists, the song appears twice.
