Ha, that's like the old 'I'm not racist, I have a black friend!' comments. It doesn't mean he's not homophobic at all. I don't really have an opinion on him and haven't seen what he's supposedly said, but I hardly think the fact he's friends with Rylan can be used in his defence 😂

 

That is EXACTLY what I thought of when I read that!

Plus most of his music is pretty intolerable which just adds to the pain (granted this track is just painfully average).

I'm not sure what to expect from it on Spotify tomorrow actually, it's lost over half a day of streams, but there is the fanbase factor in it I guess!

 

The Thursday release is a bit of a mess but hopefully he can still nab a high debut next week :D

Well, I suppose it didn't affect The Weeknd much, so it can't do too much harm to Niall.

In all honesty, I can't see it affecting him THAT MUCH. Sure, hardcore fans will buy and stream his track now, but he's bound to be high on the New Music Playlist and iTunes Front Page tomorrow - so that'll attract the casual fans and general public which more than likely make up for a large number of his sales.

 

Either way I can see him entering in the top 10, probably even top 5.

Niall's song is actually amazing!

Well it's not like he released his song on Monday, it's only one afternoon and he'll already have a high position on iTunes when the sales start to count
