He's so good at promoting his music live - Love My Life up to 4 on ITunes. :)

It was good at the gig explaining what the song was about. "for your babies and mine"

Album at 7 this week. 30k sales :)

It's not doing bad is it . He has had to work very hard to promote it . Tickets arrived yesterday for the Dublin gig in June

Seems to be holding up well. LML is steady on top ten ITunes too although I know that will count for nothing when streaming is counted.

I would say he will be happy with how things have gone. But - like you say - he's had to work for it.

Album did well this week. Number 6, 43K sold. Think he must be almost at 200K now. B-)

Not bad at all.

I read it will be on Amazon Prime which selfishly for me is good news as we're members. :) Hopefully it will make it to YouTube too for those who aren't.

I think you become Prime members either because you use it a lot or you pay £50 to become a member.

We didn't ask for it, they just told us we had it a couple of years ago Tess.

I'm sure it'll be on youtube anyway.

I have an account with Amazon Laura, I discovered I can pick it up that way

They've cancelled the two Polish gigs. RW said himself the promoters were overly optimistic with gigs in six Eastern European countries so ticket sales in Poland suffered. So, they've pulled it.

I admire his honesty. I'm not sure many artists would tell the truth in this situation. No bullshit from that man.

The cancelled both gigs? There is a lot of fear between fans that more gigs will be cancalled. The German ones have almost sold out, Austria, Italy Netherlands all sell well. But I guess he or the promotor thought that there ismore money between the peoplein Eastern Europe. I wonder how the Russian gigs are doing.

I wish him so much luck.

As you say Laura, whowould be so honest.

He is always honest , he always keeps his businessman hat on at all times , I guess that has been part of his success

I often wonder is that the reason he does not go to South America, it costs a lot of money to put on a tour & heas has to make monet out of it after everyone else has been paid otherwise what's the point

May be the same reason he doesn't tour North America, either....might not be a good enough money-maker for it....

@They've cancelled the two Polish gigs.@

There was only 1 concert in Warsaw )

Hopefully those that did buy tickets can reallocate to the other Eastern European gigs.

I wonder if the bad sales are related to the cost of the tickets as well .

It is difficult to tell as we do not really know how tickets sold. The usual countries he visited are selling well. The UK is not selling like in the past, but he is up against TT selling tickets before foralmost teh same time and the fan base is similar. Many can only afford one ticket. Plus, ticket prizes and thepopularity which is not that huge anymore as yearas ago with a new ticket and record buying public and his fan base definitely not in the age of stadiums anymore.

In the countries of Eastern Europe the ticket pricesmight indeed be too high. However, it still takes months until the gig and I reiterate this, even en vogue stars like Beyonce and Rihanna and old stars like Madonna have difficulties to sell tickets and play in front of empty stadiums.

The only sure bank there is Coldplay and U2
