Posted October 4, 20168 yr This is a very sad story of a mother of two Carmen Greenway aged 41 who had a motorbike accident moments after taking a selfie whilst riding her motor vehicle. http://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/mothe...YlCK?li=BBoPWjQ
October 4, 20168 yr that is really sad, but people really shouldn't be taking selfies whilst riding. should be common sense :( those poor kids :(
October 4, 20168 yr Looks like it was a bicycle rather than a motorcycle but still, absolutely tragic. I don't think too much should be made of the fact she was taking a selfie, although it was a bit reckless it's somewhat understandable taking into account she was on the way back from the pub, probably had a couple of drinks, had just had a nice night, felt on top of the world, wanted to capture the moment and made a two second decision that sadly cost her her life. The focus should be more on the fact that she wasn't wearing a helmet, like her husband said. Absolutely feel for her family though, it must be so tough losing someone especially in those sorts of circumstances where it could've easily have been prevented. :(
October 5, 20168 yr yer it's really sad but helmets are worn for a reason. esp when you've just been to the PUB.
October 5, 20168 yr This is more of a freak accident to me tbh. I doubt she was going at like 30mph. Just landed in an extremely unfortunate manner. You can still break your neck or something even if you wear a helmet. I am in no way saying helmets are unnecessary because they aren't but rare things like this blowing into something they aren't is so damn annoying.
