Mercedes look set to enter Formula E in the 2018/19 season.

They're not the only ones!

Renault have been involved for so long the first years cars all had their name on the chassis. They put in a bid to supply batteries from S5 onwards. Porsche were tendering for the battery deal, believed as a forerunner for a team. - the deal went to McLaren of F1 and Road car fame - Jaguar are now on board, Audi have a 'team', DS (Citroën's 'luxury' sub-brand) had a team, BMW have partnered with Andretti also believed to be a forerunner for a team, Volvo & Nissan & Honda are rumoured to be sniffing around and India's Mahindra have a team.

It's been a massive draw for Manufacturers in a way F1 hasn't for a long time.

That's not great on prime time. Needs to be spiced up a bit this. The novelty of this has worn off.

Indeed quite a race in Mexico. A good victory for Lucas di Grassi, the gamble paid off.

An solid race in Monaco it was. Buemi and Di Grassi once again battling for the win.

It was quite a good race, Paris was. Still would be good to see one car being used for the whole of the race.

Cool. I'll be looking forward to it. I think the calendar should be just for the year e.g. 2017 only not 3 month gap before the next race.

Renault e.Dams have signed up Buemi and Prost for Season 4 and 5! (In the process revealing they're also working on their S5 car already)

Another exciting race to watch in Berlin been a good weekend of racing there. Harsh on Rosenqvist to be penalised for that 10 second penalty.
