Yess! Really happy how big it became in the end. It seemed to happen "in secret" in 2017-18 as it never charted very high outside the US. Switzerland, Italy and Hungary embraced it a bit.
Million Reasons (and the whole Joanne era) lacked playlisting, which is essential in the streaming era. Gaga and her team were still stuck in the digital era where performances had huge effect on the charts and forgot to invest in playlisting. But what to expect from a manager like hers? She will always be a year or two behind the music industry as long as she is under his bad management.

Yeah playlisting was a big issue. I don't think the public were TOO ready for her off the back of the divisive ARTPOP era too but the song's power shined through and proved the haters wrong. Can't believe now it's one of her most streamed! :cheeseblock:

Yeah this is one of those genuinely successful tracks what’s peak is sort of misleading.

The UK release was midweek for this too wasn’t it so it could’ve potentially had a slightly better debut than it did / an extra week top 40. I’m glad it actually did sneak the top 40 though, had it just missed out and been stuck with a #41 or #42 peak it would’ve been so annoying!

Her team seem to be better these days and she’s in a better position now on streaming sites than she was when this was released. The live performances of this though are practically all incredible though especially the Royal Variety one which I very regularly watch back still now   what’s the UK sales for this compared to those of Perfect Illusion?

Last figure I have for Million Reasons is 429,000+ (Gold). But I could imagine it around 465-80k now.

Last figure I have for Perfect Illusion is 210,000+ (Silver). Reckon it's sold very little, probably 230-240k.

Still needs to be certified 4x Platinum in the US, her label are so behind with certifications.
