Well Danyl seems like a nice fellow (having had no experience of him on other shows, not that matters anyway but seeing people talk about his attitude makes me think of that) but this is horrendous. He can't sing and it's just sounding off pretty awfully. And so dull for the lyrical theme of 'light up the world', it's more like 'feebly brighten your local village'.

 

This was a man Simon Cowell did a standing ovation for every week, claiming his shouting vocals were 'how it's done' :lol:

Well, SHE is fantastic but it's such a West End number. Perhaps it could work but that's actually the first time I've "felt" that song so clearly it's one that comes alive more live at least.

This is absolutely gorgeous live tbh. I say this as someone who wasn't overly keen on her in XF! The judges will absolutely eat it up I reckon. Maybe a mini 'It's My Time' sort of moment?

That was a hugely dull song and I would need a lot of leeway to accept Lucie's song as an entry I'd like (as of now, I'd HATE it) but it might might might not be the worst option we could choose.

Lucie was amazing. I do wish the song was stronger but it's quite lovely as it is, just not a contender in any way, shape or form.

Studio wise I prefer Olivia but I think Holly did it better live.

It's a very nice song. But I don't see where the appeal would be? I can't see it attracting the number of voters and jury votes we need to do well.

She did a lot better with that than expected! We do have some great vocallists to choose from, it's a shame the material isn't a bit better. But that was a much more confident and feisty performance than I was anticipating.

Wow... Olivia's track really sounds more like a Eurovision track. I don't think the judges are keen on it though.

I liked that, but like I said on Monday, it's essentially a Leona album track from 2009 and I don't see it getting the votes.
