Posted October 7, 20168 yr Connor Ball @TheVampsCon 2h2 hours ago So for those that didn't hear on the radio... Our new single may be coming to your ears next week 😏 be ready Cannot wait!!
October 7, 20168 yr These guys are my guilty pleasure so I'm looking forward to some new music :D Same! Such a shame 'Volcano' was wasted though. :(
October 9, 20168 yr I loved "Wake Up" and much of their last album. Am I right in saying they have a book out this week as well?
October 9, 20168 yr Was thinking about these guys earlier :o Hope it's good - I expect the fanbase will make it go top 40.
October 9, 20168 yr I really hope they get another hit :( I haven't listened to their albums but I really did enjoy all of their singles, especially from album 1!
October 9, 20168 yr Loved their last album although I was expecting them to be dropped as it was a bit of a flop era for them in terms of chart positions and sales.
October 9, 20168 yr Author I expect they make enough money from touring and merchandise to make up for the underwhelming chart success!
October 9, 20168 yr I expect they make enough money from touring and merchandise to make up for the underwhelming chart success! True... I'd guess that having a chart his is just seen as a bonus  (to them of course) Edited October 9, 20168 yr by cqmerqn
October 10, 20168 yr This era is likely make or break for them as their last album campaign and singles were a disaster.
October 10, 20168 yr Yeah, I feel like it could be make or break this time, although like Joseph said, they may be safe if they continue to bring in the money with touring and merch, as they clearly still have a loyal fanbase. I seem to recall 'Wake Up' was an OA/OS release but this was at the point where this strategy was about to take off (what with Justin Bieber in particular triumphing with it) so hopefully, now that it's become the norm and record companies are learning how to treat and handle such releases, The Vamps will have a better chance at doing well instead of getting good first week sales before dropping like a stone. I'm not totally sure 'Wake Up' was the best song choice either, but that's going down a more subjective path.
October 12, 20168 yr Author Confirmed via live stream that it's called All Night and is a collaboration with Matoma :o :o Really exciting collaboration, cannot wait! Premieres during Capital drivetime tomorrow night and is out officially on Friday :D (not sure exactly what the credit is, if Matoma is joint lead or a feature but I'll correct it when we know for sure)
October 12, 20168 yr MATOMA?!? Surprised The Vamps are still deemed relevant enough to get him on board with their song, but if it means I'll actually enjoy it then yay
October 12, 20168 yr MATOMA?!? Surprised The Vamps are still deemed relevant enough to get him on board with their song, but if it means I'll actually enjoy it then yay Is he really that big though? As for the preview, sounds quite 'inspired' by that current Chainsmokers-esque sound. I'm already tiring of it, I hope it doesn't go on for as long as tropical has.
October 12, 20168 yr I look forward to hearing it in full, Wake Up had some really good songs and props to them for getting another album
October 12, 20168 yr Well Matoma's behind one of my favourite records of 2016 ('False Alarm') so this can only be a good thing :D
October 12, 20168 yr Ohh this is sounding quite fresh - I do hope we see tropical vibes throughout and not just a tropical frop in among pop because that doesn't work with me. Very gentle synths isn't something we see much so it'll be interesting to hear this.
