Looks like a refreshing cover, although I don't want the UK volumes to just keep copying the US volumes each time.

Also, I hope they've got a really special artwork design lined up for Now 100.

Interesting that Ed is only licensing Castle On The Hill everywhere at the moment...I presume he'll start to allow Shape Of You for the summer wave of compilations, including Now 97, once it's well away from No.1. Hopefully Tuesday gets a push here at some point, doing very big things in Germany!

I bought NOW 90s today, the version released by EMI in 2009 and looking at the tracklist, it should have been renamed NOW 90s Number Ones

Don't know if it's been mentioned on this thread already, but if you've got a copy of Now 48 - released 16 years ago this month in 2001 - it's now trading hands for as much as £30!

Admittedly, the reason why it's had a spike in second hand purchases is because of Peter Kay's Car Share, where it features heavily - more specifically the Hear'Say and S Club 7 tracks on disc 1 (I find him massively unfunny, but that may be just me). It's even overtaken Now 96 on Amazon's compilation chart!

And also, the NOW spin-offs released by EMI costs a ridiculous amount of money e.g. NOW Wedding on eBay is £50 BIN and yet today's spin-offs go straight in the bargain bin

I think I paid a quid for that at a charity shop a couple of years ago!

Now 30 used to be really sought after because of Oasis's Whatever, which wasn't on any of their main albums and couldn't be easily purchased until downloads arrived. By the late noughties you could get it for a pound though.

Whilst this thread is mainly here to discuss UK releases, I just thought I'd share images and links to anything else coming soon;

Now That's What I Call Classic Rock [VINYL]

Any others people have found?

Add to that list above,

Any predictions on what could feature on this UK release? :mellow:

They need to study tracklists from albums such as "The Nation's Favourite Motown Songs" and "Anthems Soul Classics" and to use songs from there as opposed to other unknown soul classics. I hope there's no recent songs on there

NOW Classic Rock will be the first NOW album getting a vinyl release since NOW 35 from 1996 (If you don't count the 2015 Record Store Day reissue of the very first NOW album)
