October 19, 20168 yr Author Ok just been checking out the YouTube channel this came from – Hiper Music, and it looks like a load of fake songs to me. Someone else may wish to verify, but it just looks a bit dodgy to me. https://m.youtube.com/channel/UC47Mn_JicP0Mymq8B_e92nA I apologise for misleading anyone if this song is fake, I mean there's no sound of Chris Martin's vocals anywhere to be found anyway!
October 19, 20168 yr This sounds great if it is real quite different for a future bass song, the vocal is very 80s inspired Vocalist doesn't sound like Chris Martin though so I assume you are right and it is fake.
October 19, 20168 yr Author Chris Martin on a Chainsmokers record? As if  Well he has been on a Kanye West record once! Edited October 19, 20168 yr by awardinary
October 20, 20168 yr it's a fake channel, i mean, a channel with fake songs like Calvin Harris featuring Lana del Rey and things like that that said, I think its true that Chainsmokers and Chris Martin have collaborated, read it somewhere
October 20, 20168 yr Chris Martin and The Chainsmokers were in the studio some weeks ago (there's a story from Snapchat about that), so a collaboration between them is going to happen. However, this is so fake.
January 25, 20178 yr Just replying in case anyone else is wondering... I can 100% confirm this song is fake. The video in the OP may be gone, but it has resurfaced elsewhere, like here: -9FJ68YUeOU As a fan of Coldplay myself, I knew instantly it wasn't Chris Martin's vocals. But that opening ear worm was stuck in my head, and I wanted to find out what the original song was. I can now report that I know the song. A thousand Shazams later, I can identify the song above (with an empty arena effect applied to it) is really "Firewind" by a Russian band called Manhatt10. See it here: A2NIkwd_fjY I hope this clears up any confusion!
