...MARTIN GARRIX :cheer:

Martin Garrix climbs to #1 on this year's DJ Mag Poll that ranks the top 100 DJs as voted by the fans. Last year's #1 were Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike who thankfully haven't held on to #1, Martin Garrix deserves it so much more! Even those not huge fans of him can agree he's better than DV&LM.

Well, every year I can't help laughing at this kind of rollup system - you save up your fame bit by bit and then only next year get what you deserved *hi Garrix* sometimes it doesn't work, yeah *cough Deorro*

I know that Tiёsto and AvB are legends, but...please. There are some more LEGENDS here and they imo deserve it all too.

Also nothing but huge support to this small amount of Russian presenters (even though I haven't voted any of them).

Mixed feelings about the list but who the hell cares.

YASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS :yahoo: :w00t: :yahoo: ~ ✖️

it seems wrong for avicii not to be in the top10 tho~ :(

Boo at Fedde Le Grand in the top 50, never really liked him because he started the imo cold emotionless electro era in 2007 which sadly killed off the warm sounding Shapeshifters style disco house that was making the charts before it in the middle of the decade

Are Marcus and Robin Schulz related?

I liked Garrix originally with Animals and Wizard, and Tremor was such a great bit of early 00s hard house nostalgia but In The Name Of Love is too generic future bass.

Guess he doesn't have a very big fanbase then, a lot of the commercial DJs seem to not do as well as others who've not had chart hits recently (or ever) but have the fans to make up for it.

Also it seems a lot of these DJs really splash out on self-promotion whilst others don't really care about the poll

Can't really wait for Bubbling Under results, sometimes they are more useful and interesting than the whole 100.

Surprised to also not see Disciples and KDA anywhere.

KDA hasn't made a name for himself as a DJ worldwide, keep in mind he's only had a big chart hit in the UK (Rumble didn't smash anywhere else).

Disciples are probably bubblin' under, maybe they'll make it next year if they have more festival appearances.

The Bottom 100 DJs results have also been revealed (well the bottom 10 for now).

10. Deadmau5

9. Hardwell

8. Martin Jensen

7. Paris Hilton

6. Alok

5. DVBBS

4. VINAI

3. KSHMR

2. David Guetta

1. Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike

No idea who Alok is and haven't heard of Martin Jensen aside from one song of his that was in BJSC so not sure where their hate is coming from.

Bottom 100 DJs is not associated with DJ Mag, it's a parody.
