Well 2 of the biggest bands in the world are both releasing "Best of" compilation's on November 20th but which will sell more? :unsure:

 

I'm going for Oasis cause it's their first and will be bought by a huge amount of people. U2 already have 2 Best of's which will be available at a much lower price, however they are putting 2 new track on the album unlike Oasis. :unsure:

I think Oasis' will sell from 200-250k first week and U2 150-200K :D

i love both bands but oasis could do slighty better as its there first greatest hits package where its u2 3rd and it only seems like 2 years since u2 released there g hits even thoug hits longer,both will be big sellers though

Oasis will do better and sell more, over 250k to U2's 150k.

 

The simple reasoning is that U2 have had 2 Best ofs in the late 90s, and its too soon for another. This is Oasis' first Best of.

01: Oasis

02: Over 300k

03: 150k-200k

It will be Oasis who sells more, but it doesn't deserve to be. Bloody god-awful band they are.

 

Oasis first week: 300k +

 

U2 first week: 100 - 150k

id say oasis will probably sell more, but i cant see it selling as much as people think because of the rubbish tracklisting.

I am sure Oasis will sell more, for the reasons stated already - U2 already have compliations out (which are better than this release ^_^).

I expect Oasis over 250k , and U2 around 150k.

The fact U2 are releasing 2 new songs you never know and this wil be their first GH which contains the songs on 1 CD ^_^

I actually think that both acts might sell over 300K and that Oasis will maybe just get the #1 due to the pure fact that it is their first best of. :D

I think it will work in favour for both bands. I mean U2 fans will go to buy U2's album and see Oasis next to it and will probebly end up buying it as well and visa versa :D
