It's week 5, I am hoping for the week 5 shock to come back and claim a victim.

Who would be a shock/the one judges dont love enough at this point? I honestly believe if Matt/Emily/5AM were to be in the bottom 2, they'd survive against anyone. Obviously if two of those 3 were in the bottom against each other then yeah but I don't think that will happen. Such a weak series overall talent wise imo, for it to be a "shock".

We had our week 5 shock a week early but paining Gifty as such an obvious boot with song choice and early slot kind of numbed the shock :lol:

Week 4 is week when usually someone from girls category is in the bottom, traditionally. I didn't know about week 5 shock, but looking back I see it now :D

Tbf the last week 5 anyway was probably 2011, when The Risk went:

 

2012: Kye Sones

2013: Abi Alton

2014: Paul Akister

2015: 4th Impact

 

Before that we had Laura White, Lucie Jones and the original and probably the worst case Maria Lawson as I think she was bookies' fave to win at the time.

 

It does say it all though about how formulaic the show has become that we expect the same little cliches in result patterns :lol:

I do think Ryan could actually escape this week, his odds are drifting elimination-wise while Sam's are shortening. While Ryan is still shorter than Sam, Saara was basically the Ryan last week while Gifty was the Sam and Saara stayed over Gifty. So history could repeat itself tonight perhaps...

It's definitely between Saara, Ryan, 4 Of Diamonds and Sam for bottom three. No one else. Matt really should be there though imo.

Ryan's odds make sense when you think about the lifeline, at this point it's a given that he'll get it so he's obviously gonna stay :lol: I do think that either him or 4OD will scrape out this week and leave the other to battle with Saara and Sam. Tbh whilst Ryan is my least favourite left I'd rather he just went straight through to make the flash vote more interesting, seeing as he won't go anywhere either way.

I'm thinking Sam, Saara and 4OD after having rewatched the show earlier. Sam would probably be saved out of that 3.

I would've thought that too, but I'm surprised it's taken the gamblers a couple of weeks to realise something we've all known about but perhaps they just had a delayed reaction! :heehee:

Yeah definitely, they'll hit Saara with the "public aren't connecting to you" despite them being in the bottom 3 the same amount of times :lol: I actually think Saara has a shot at the flash vote if Ryan isn't there though, I'd have thought compared to the other two she'd have way more people who use the app and use perhaps even multiple devices to give 10 votes (I have my phone and iPad for example and usually give 10 to my fave in the bottom 3!)

I think they'd maybe go to deadlock on that, and I'd probably guess Saara bagged a few more votes too.

Saara mentioned a few times about how amazing her sing-off song is and that whatever happens tonight is meant to happen on her Facebook live an hour or so ago, so at least she must be expecting a return to the bottom 3. Maybe she has this mindset every week but she wasn't in such a mindset last week at least publicly on her Facebook live (she does one every week just before the results show now).

I love Keep on Movin'. Not sure about this version.
