November 19, 20169 yr I'd be shocked if Little Mix didn't get it then, many of Metallica's fans would have definitely gone out on day 1, they've been waiting so long for this album.
November 19, 20169 yr Little Mix are currently on Radio 2 doing interview and "No More Sad Songs" from the album was given a play, Don't know if do much for album sales but promo is promo I guess! They also have Sunday Brunch tomorrow and no doubt an advert for the album during this weekends x factor.
November 19, 20169 yr I wonder if they'll overtake David Bowie for fastest selling album of 2016 so far? You are aware that Blackstar sold 146k in first week? Little Mix will be in range of half of that number for the week surely. Wonder whether Ball & Boe can beat Bruno Mars this week...
November 19, 20169 yr sure Metallica has to be the most front loaded out of the 3, with Bruno being the least front loaded (actually Bruno started lower than the others on itunes albums and now he's ar #2 behind Now at #1) so looks like LM will be #1 but with less than 100K?
November 19, 20169 yr I would imagine Metallica will be the most frontloaded Yes, Well last year Get Weird sold just over 60k first week for Little Mix so giving how popular they have become since I would say around 85k this week for them. Think it will be a stronger seller right up till Christmas now.
November 19, 20169 yr Minty has Little Mix at #1 with a 25% lead over Metallica. Says it's selling "faster than Olly", which I would have expected anyway, so isn't a great indication of sales. Would these initial numbers include what has been sold through Metallica's own online merch store? I expect a rather substantial chunk of their sales to be achieved that way.

November 20, 20169 yr Daily Star confirmed Little Mix sold 43k on Friday. In one day ^_^ mind you the album is a xmas seller.
