good Lost kings song there, have to say Phone Down is better myself.

I am liking that but not to the extent of the 2 listed here, they definitely deserve more recognition though!

92. Rachel Platten - Stand By You

Total points: 163

Chart run: 11-9-12-14-20-26-32 {7 weeks}

A song which charted right at the start of the window, peaking just inside the top 10. Her UK #1 'Fight Song' never charted but this flop follow-up achieved reasonable success.

Bleh at the Rachel Platten song. Fight Song was much better although I don't even revisit it anymore. It grew off me quick.

91. Joey Montana - Picky

Another Spanish track next, this from Panama soloist Joey Montana. It also debuted in the first week of the window (to be fair 15 songs in total did that week) & its 3 weeks top 10 were enough to earn it a place on the top 100.

Didn't realise you were such a fan of Spanish/Latin America pop. I don't care for it much myself.

That's kinda how I feel about Stand By You, wouldn't ever play it now!

90. Digital Farm Animals & Youthonix (feat. R. Kelly) - Wanna Know

Total points: 166

Chart run: 7-5-15-19-17-25-33 {7 weeks}

Digital Farm Animals had a big hit last year with 'True' but his only hit in 2016 was this house track, enlisting the help of Youthonix & R. Kelly who also both only earn a placing through this. Actual UK hit 'Millionaire' did not make the Chart at all.

Wanna Know :music:

A total injustice that this wasn't pushed yet Millionaire was a worldwide hit. :angry:

Maybe if it was released a few years ago just after R Kelly had the Bump & Grind remix be a hit.

Maybe yeah! He had that almost mini-revival featuring on the Lady Gaga & Bieber tracks the year before too so there was his chance to do a Craig David :lol:

More to come later today.

^Yeah it should have done a lot better IMO!

Chart run: 21-17-14-13-14-26-28-29-38 {9 weeks}

A house cover of the 1982 hit from Patrice Rushen (and most notably sampled in Will Smith's 'Men In Black'), this is the Dutch DJ's first & so far only hit.

88. Alan Walker - Spectre

Total points: 169

Chart run: 4-5-10-14-17-27 {6 weeks}

Alan Walker had a breakthrough year with his worldwide smash 'Faded' & whilst that doesn't feature on this list, his unreleaed 2015 track 'Spectre' does, spending 3 weeks top 10. He still has the #1 single 'Sing Me To Sleep' left to come.

This was the London duo's first hit & was very unlucky to miss the top 10. A strong run in the top 20 cemented its position in the top 100.

She's all about that bass & her comeback track managed a top 10 position here which it came oh so close to achieving officially too.

85. The Chainsmokers (feat. Daya) - Don't Let Me Down

Total points: 174

Chart run: 33-38-21-17-9-12-20-35-X-39-X-29-24 {11 weeks}

One of the most successful acts of the year, their first UK top 10 hit which still resides in the top 40 today is one of a select handful of songs to have 3 separate runs in this Chart. They still have a huge hit to come in 'Roses'.

LOVE Don't Let Me Down! Still my favourite Chainsmokers track actually, as my EOY is gonna reflect! The drop is superb and really unique among dance hits right now I'd say.

It is a very good song & like a few already revealed, probably should be a little bit higher! However it doesn't come close to Roses for me (or #SELFIE actually :kink:)

'Forget Me Nots' sounds good on a first listen, nice remake.

'Spectre' is good but I never got into it. Looking forward to his next single this Friday though :dance:

'I Remember' :wub: That will be high in my EOY for sure.

'NO' got a bit annoying after a few weeks, though at least it's a hundred times better than 'Me Too'.

'Don't Let Me Down' is great, although I never loved it. I'm in the minority preferring 'Closer' I think...

As am I re Alan Walker, hoping it's as good as SMTS.

Whilst Closer turned out to be a grower for me, it's not as good as this one nor Roses, what a year they've had though!

84. Aelyn - Give Love A Try

Total points: 178

Chart run: 4-3-8-10-20-23 {6 weeks}

A song that was entered into the BJSC this year & subsequently won, this progressive house song from Ukrainian singer Aelyn managed what very few non-Dobago BJSC entries do which is to make the top 100 of the year, helped by 4 weeks in the top 10.
