Matt Simons - loved this, don't get why it was cruelly ignored in the U.K. It could've been massive

Sophie - this was great!

Troyboi - this was a bit of a choon too.

Love TroyBoi especially 'On My Own' :wub:

Can't wait to see the rest of your 2016 chart!!!

I have a feeling you'll be a fan of a fair few of these :yahoo:

I think Catch & Release was 2 years too late, back in the deep house phase of 2014 it would have been huge definitely.

Love those other 2 just listening back to them now :dance:

75. ItaloBrothers - Sleep When We're Dead

Total points: 198

Chart run: -3-6-7-9-19-20-31-39 {8 weeks}

Having been a huge fan of German dance group ItaloBrothers through most of their careers it came as no surprise this offering became a huge hit. It would have been further up the countdown but for its first few weeks counting towards last year including its ultimate peak of #2.

74. Otto Knows (feat. Lindsey Stirling & Alex Aris) - Dying For You

Total points: 201

Chart run: 17-17-12-24-17-26-19-27-19-33-39 {11 weeks}

This collaboration had one of the most see-saw runs ever seen on the Chart & only narrowly missed the top 10. It's the only hit so far for Otto Knows & Lindsey Stirling, however Alex Aris features on a track yet to arrive.

73. DJ Antoine & Timati (feat. Grigory Leps) - London

Total points: 210

Chart run: 31-20-13-7-2-6-18-21 {8 weeks}

Originally just a ballad between Russian artists Timati & Grigory Leps, this got the full on DJ Antoine treatment to mould it into a club banger. An uncommon feat of this track was climbing in its first 5 weeks on the Chart, eventually settling for runners-up spot behind Craig David.

72. Imani Williams (feat. Sigala & Blonde) - Don't Need No Money

Total points: 212

Chart run: 39-28-34-31-24-23-19-24-34-38-X-39-27-25-21-21-24-34 {17 weeks}

This brilliant upbeat bop sadly never made it officially but managed an incredibly long run here for a song which only spent a solitary week in the top half. Its 17 total weeks can only be bettered by a handful of tracks, all of which appear right at the top of the list. Whilst this is the last we'll see of Blonde, Sigala & Imani Williams both appear on a huge #1 contender.

71. Flume (feat. Tove Lo) - Say It

Total points: 212

Chart run: 27-20-18-9-7-10-18-21-27 {9 weeks}

Australian producer Flume earned his first hit on the Chart with 'Say It' earlier in the year. Also featuring Tove Lo it had a very parabolic run in its 9 week stint. This is the only appearance of both artists on the countdown.

70. Kontrust - Sock 'n' Doll

Total points: 212

Chart run: 6-9-10-7-13-14-24-35-39 {9 weeks}

A track from 2012 features next but following its appearance in the first BJSC of the year, made enough of an impact to strongly Chart this year. Part rock, part dance, the rest completely bonkers...

69. Dawin - Dessert

Total points: 216

Chart run: -7-4-4-7-11-21-26-33-40 {9 weeks}

American singer Dawin scored a strong hit in 'Dessert' last year which extended its run into early 2016. It eventually became a minor UK hit in a hugely inferior remixed form featuring Silentó.

68. DJ Snake (feat. Bipolar Sunshine) - Middle

Total points: 219

Chart run: 15-24-30-22-29-23-35-16-25-34-30-36-X-39-33-X-29-27-31 {17 weeks}

Another long-runner next & another which had 3 separate stints in the chart, accumulating to a 17 week total run. DJ Snake's only hit of the year, which earned a top 10 peak officially, is the highest song in this countdown not to achieve such on this Chart.

67. Danny L Harle - Broken Flowers

Total points: 221

Chart run: 5-5-7-8-13-16-16-37 {8 weeks}

Managing 2 weeks in the top 5, 'Broken Flowers' became Danny L Harle's first hit here. He would go on to score a #1 later in the year with a song yet to appear.

And with that we are over a third of the way through!

Broken Flowers is lovely :heart: it'll make an appearance in my EOY top 100 this year, the second time it'll do so as it was also in the 2014 EOY!

Middle, Say It and Dying For You all brilliant too. :dance:

Broken Flowers is a decent song from the start of the year! My favourite of his to date

It was his first song I was fully on board with, then he went & produced the masterpiece that is Super Natural :dance:

Very impressive! I had forgotten at the time it had already been released actually.

Say it, Sock N Doll and Broken Flowers :wub:

Hope to see some of these in your own EOY Harry!

66. Sagi Abitbul & Guy Haliva - Stanga

Total points: 221

Chart run: 5-6-9-11-22-15-11-29-40 {9 weeks}

This wondrous banger from Israeli duo Sagi Abitbul & Guy Haliva debuted in the top 5 & experienced a second wave following its performance in BJSC. Although only a relatively short track it feels like an epic journey all the way through!

65. Sigma (feat. Take That) - Cry

Total points: 227

Chart run: 24-31-8-7-10-11-19-19-23-35-40-38 {12 weeks}

One of the most surprising collaborations of the year in fact turned out to be quite the masterstroke, spending 3 months in the Chart & continuing Sigma's great run of form. With 4 total hits this year, they have 2 still to appear on this countdown.
