The whole listen through is strong and feels like a natural progression from her last album without being too different. The vibe is way more sultry then it was before on the other album as seen in the collabs and the lyrics. All round this is the album that made me a Ariana Stan".

I Say: "What other album could it have been? This is just amazing I especially love the first two songs seen in the top 5 songs I go back to them the most. I can't wait to see where this album takes Charlie in the long run but he has set the bar high for the second album".

Wow at Charlie Puth being #1 here! I've not been so active around personal charts this year so didn't realise it had such a great run on your albums chart! I liked the album but didn't really go back to it much but I still think all of the singles have been fantastic and he does come across really likeable. Hoping his Little Mix is going to be huge after Touch does its business too!

 

Dangerous Woman is a very worthy runner up too, Ariana is SUCH a star so I'm glad she's been given such good material these past two eras. Side to Side is the best track of her career imo, just so sexy and cool :wub:

Haha Yeah i am guessing it would be a shock to some but I really do love this album such a great pop album I cant wait for his follow up now. I think you should give the album another listen tbh might be a better listen :heart:

 

Dangerous Woman has made Ariana into a star tbh she has good materail last era but this era she has amazing materail :heart: Problwm is still my favourite of hers so far :heart:

Human is such a good song!! also amazing to see blurryface at number 6, so much love for twenty one pilots :wub: not heard most of the songs from Charlie Puth's album so will need to check those out!

Not only has Charlie Puth claimed the number one album of the year but this year also saw success for him singles wise his song 'We Don't Talk Anymore' reached number one on the singles chart and his song 'One Call Away' reached number 5 in my chart. With a fourth single to impact my chart and most likely go top 10. Its safe to say Charlie has had Flynnondian success.

4. Shawn Mendes

Oh handsome Shawn Mendes has had quite the year in my chart. He has scored two number one's in my chart and a number one album. He has also scored two top 10's in my chart as well. Bravo Shawn.

3. Ellie Goudling


Ellie has scored not only her second number one single this year but her third. After 2015's Love Me Like You Do. 'Army' and 'Still Falling for You' both notched over 10 weeks in my chart not only this the album 'Dellruim' continued to sell loads throughout the year. Not bad at all.

2. Sigala

In 2015 Sigala scored himself two number one singles with 'Easy Love' and 'Sweet Lovin'. In 2016, he scored a third with 'Say You Do' . Not only this he has scored three other top 10's to his name including 'Give Me Your Love', his own song. Not only this but with collabrations with Craig David 'Ain't Giving Up' and Imani Williams & Blonde on 'Don't Need No Money'.

The swedish queen not only got 1 number one this year but she has got three to her name which were her own songs 'Lush Life' and 'Aint My Fault' as well as Tinie Tempah collaboration 'Girls Like'. All of which have got at least 10 weeks and have had two weeks at the top spot. Add a top 20 with David Guetta then its fair to say she has had an amazing year and with I Would Like out there and a supposed album too, 2017 could also be big for this sweedish queen.

Not only did there recent album 'Glory Days' sell well as it has now had three weeks at number one but there last album sound really well too. Not only this but three top 10 hits in 2016. Slay.

Four top 10's from this album including recent hit 'Everglow' as well as a big selling number one album. Coldplay are one of my favourite bands so its not a suprise they did well in my chart at all.

Hi Harry, great to see Bowie so high in the albums! Shawn Mendes got me a point in a pub quiz photo round the other night so I owe him a favour :lol: Charlie Puth has a great voice, I hope he gets some consistent career choices, he could be one to watch long-term...

I was getting into Shawn a bit last year but really fallen in love with his music (and him a little ;)) this era. His album is consistently high standard so I'm glad he's got a few big hits from it too :wub:

 

It does feel that Ellie's been a bit quiet this year but hopefully she'll be back with a new album soon. I wish she had ended up releasing Something In The Way You Move properly this era though :(

 

I imagine Zara would be high up on most people's lists this year, she seems to have just been on hit after hit. Lush Life is still the best for me but AMF is not far behind. She seems to be doing alright going into 2017 with IWL smashing at the moment too! :D

Glory is also fab (Liar <3) & Aurora/Christine have both come out of nowhere to me utterly adoring them over the last year and a bit!

I have been getting into his music and him a lot over the past year and its amazing I am glad to see him have success with this era he deserves it :wub:

Also brill to see Zara Larsson & Little Mix do well in your artists charts. They've both done so well this year.

Sigala is amazing, I love his tropical beats :music:

 

As for Zara, I loved Lush Life and her collaborations with Guetta & Tinie but I'm not sure about her moer recent stuff :(

#8 Jax Jones - After getting his own number one when collaborating with Duke Dumont on 2014 single 'I Got You' the 29 year old house DJ has since earned a lot of attention at the end of the year with his song 'House Work' featuring Mike Dunn and MNEK. Which was playlisted on Radio 1 and 1xtra. Now he has a huge sounding single with RAYE called 'You Don't Know Me' so keep an eye out for that.

#7 Anne Marie - No Stranger to my chart after getting top 20 with Rudimental, top 5 hit with 'Alarm' and a number one when featuring on Clean Bandit single 'Rockabye'. I think 2017 could be a big for Anne-Marie for a number of reasons. Her feature on the Clean Bandit song has already gained a lot of attention and with a new single for March and album at some point could well see her reach more success which I am so looking forward to seeing (hopefully anyway).

#6 Sundara Karma - Sundara Karma is made up of four Berkshire guys who make indie/alternative music. They first gained support from Radio 1 back in 2014 where they even played Reading and Leeds festival. They have been supported loads and even have a debut album coming out in the first quarter of 2017. I cant wait to see what these guys can do.
