Yay :cheer: 2/3 right so far. Say It is really immense, the chorus drop is so good, was a shame to see it could never pick up on sales until it was six months too late (and even then it was via a Clean Bandit remix :()

I agree and it was such a shame it was never a hit. Tove Lo seems to do always do well on streaming but lacks iTunes sales!

Hi Cameron! Get better soon!!

I adore Alarm and Tears  I agree about the sound at the start of Alarm, really didn't like that at first (thought my iTunes download was dodgy lmao) but I got used to it.

Hoping Mike Posner doesn't win :kink:

Get well soon Cameron :( (you have to leave us on a cliff hanger ffs :P)

Tears is amazing, one of the highlights of 2016 for sure.

Really like Say It too, definitely Flume's best to date IMO.

Rooting for a Mike Posner victory :cheer:

02. Tove Lo - Cool Girl

Just missing out on the top spot is Tove Lo's lead single from 'Lady Wood'. The song was released late summer and eventually became a decent streaming hit, which meant it had a lengthy chart run within the top 75. This song seems to have mixed opinions on here, with some saying it's incredibly boring and repetitive but I feel like the message gets across nicely and gives it a bit more meaning. This was my favourite song for months on end, but Posner's 'Ibiza' fends off huge competition and manages to take the top spot.

OFFICIAL UK CHART PEAK: 46

Opinions, do you like this song?

01. Mike Posner - I Took A Pill In Ibiza (SeeB Remix)

Taking the top spot is Mike Posner's (probably accidental) comeback single '...Ibiza'. The song was released in 2015 but didn't become popular until early 2016 and eventually spent a month at number one. I love this song a lot because underneath all of the production is a very strong message. This was probably my favourite song right up until Tove Lo released Cool Girl and is still actually on my playlist - I love it just as much as I did a year ago. The song finished in 4th place in the Official UK Year-End chart, surpassing over 1M chart sales in 2016.

OFFICIAL UK CHART PEAK: 1

Not gonna lie, I can't stand your #1 :kink: but Cool Girl is fab! I prefer Talking Body, that's her best for me, but Cool Girl is a fun track, great comeback for her.

Fantastic countdown

Awesome top 2! I have to say, I do prefer your #1, certainly one of the dance highlights of the year and it was massively pleasing to see it hit #1!
