:puke2: #20: Bebe Rexha feat. Nicki Minaj - No Broken Hearts

Chart run: N/A

Where to start? This song is nothing but an autotuned mess with crappy lyrics, aswell as an awful rap courtesy of Nicki Minaj to top it off. Thankfully the British public, in one of their more sensible decisions this year, kept well away from this. It's the perfect embodiement of what pop music shouldn't be.

Hi Taylor

No Broken Hearts is a huge mess, Bebe is capable of so much more and not sure what she was even trying to do with this track. I am a fan of Nicki's verse though, not one of her best but it's still banging :music: I Got You was a return to form for Bebe for me anyway :D

:puke2: #19: John Newman - Ole

Chart run: N/A

Next we have "What were John Newman and Calvin Harris even thinking?", or, as it's more commonly known, "Olé". I realise the need to try out something different when you're a musician, which is absolutely a good thing, however this is uninteresting and boring. The reaction to it was very negative, and it failed to chart.

:puke2: #18: Drake - Summer Sixteen

Chart Run: 23-38-52-69-74-80-83-93

Drake's music was unavoidable, and for the most part, incredibly bland (I'm looking at you, "One Dance" and "Too Good"). But Summer Sixteen is more than bland. The diss track is simply awful, and thankfully it disappeared quickly.

No Broken Hearts is so unmemorable, I couldn't for the life of me tell you how it goes. Probably because it's awful.

Have to disagree with you on the other two, though! Summer Sixteen is brilliant (as is Drake in general) and although its by no means his best and a tad tuneless, Olé is quite a grower. Nothing I'm going to revisit though.

I listened to "I Got You" following your comment and while I don't love it, it is a lot better than "No Broken Hearts".

I don't see why everyone dislikes Olé, I think it's quite a grower!

Agree with Summer Sixteen though, it has no tune!

To be fair, it did sound better on my second listen, but still, I find it rather uninteresting. The "I can't control myself around you" part is also rather weird.

To be fair, I only heard Summer Sixteen once or twice, if I remember correctly. Had it been a big hit though, I'm pretty sure it would have been higher.

:puke2: #17: Fifth Harmony - That's My Girl

Chart Run: 57-31-35-37-26-26-30-32-43-67...

At #17 we have Fifth Harmony's best single this year, That's My Girl. While it's still pretty terrible in its own right, I will concede that is it much better than the likes of "Worth It", "Work From Home" and "All In My Head (Flex). They should keep doing songs written by Tinashe, Alexander Kronlurd and Lukas Loules, those are bearable. This would also be their final release as a five-piece, as Camilla Cabello would leave the group in December.

:puke2: #16: Lil Wayne, Imagine Dragons and Wiz Khalifa with Logic, Ty Dolla $ign & X Ambassadors - Sucker For Pain

Chart Run: 65-28-16-13-13-11-14-15-15-18-21-23-26-34-38-46-50-69-85

The Suicide Squad soundtrack produced two big hits in the UK and unfortunately, this was one of them (having said that, I haven't listened to any of the other songs on that soundtrack, so I don't know if any of them are any better). The chorus is appalling, and the verses are all terrible. Thankfully "Heathens" was the bigger hit.

Hi again Taylor

Ole was really rather terrible, he has an irritating voice at the best of times anyway but my lord, that song just had no tune and it sounded so messy  Not sure what he was thinking at all, he's more tolerable as a featured artist anyway though!

Omg at all this hate for Sucker for Pain though :( The chorus is so catchy and I love the raps too ! I do agree that Heathens is the better track though!

:)

Good to see you hating Sucker For Pain, possibly my least favourite song of all time.

:puke2: #15: Drake - Fake Love

Chart Run: 37-10-11-12-11-13-14-21-23...

And Drake appears again with "Fake Love". Much like the rest of his output this year, it is uninteresting, but here it is rather annoying aswell, which makes it my least favourite Drake song this year.

(I don't have time to explain that much more, I'm in a hurry. Sorry!)

yay someone else who hates That's My Girl :D but you hate their other singles even more :( and Drake :(

Hi Taylor Jago!

Some great picks on your hate chart so far actually. No Broken Hearts is absolute trash & glad that never took off, Sucker For Pain is also largely terrible & one of the worst hits of the year.

However I really like Olé (one of his best) and the Drake tracks, although even as a big fan I'd rank Summer Sixteen as one of his weakest ever singles.

My thoughts on the songs from the H8CHART so far:

No Broken Hearts [4.5] (was kinda turned off by this)

Ole [5.5] (Meh! JN has better (Love Me Again, Come And Get It, his collabs with Rudimental) )

Summer Sixteen [6.0] (11 months of this song and I didn't realize it was a diss track :o )

That's My Girl [6.0] (Not a fan of 5H [Worth It meh, and I didn't like Work From Home], but I quite like AIMH and this)

Sucker For Pain [8.0] (I like this song, Heathens, and Purple Lamborghini)

Fake Love [6.5] (TheNeedleDrop said that the song sounded like "a boring Hotline Bling" in one of his Best + Worst Tracks Of The Week videos)

Fake Love is great, really a shame to see you dislike it :(
