December 21, 20168 yr I thought this was an odd direction to go in with the first sneak peak of the movie, emojis are supposed to be fun and light-hearted and this trailer was just boring with no laughs  I assume that old man guy is a character in the movie but who even uses that emoji/does it even exist? Also the poop and ice cream emoji don't even look like the actual emojis?! Hoping the next trailer is a lot better than this because beforehand, I actually was a little hyped for this.
May 16, 20178 yr o_nfdzMhmrA Well, it does kind of look terrible but it seems as though there's potential for some funny jokes at least. I'll probably go watch it still, I do think it looks pretty funny!
May 16, 20178 yr nice to see the 'everything is running perfectly until one good guy messes up which causes their entire world to come crumbling down and only the good guy can stop it along with his female friend as well as a comic relief' plot being played out for the 139th time! All that product placement as well, particularly for Candy Crush
May 16, 20178 yr I liked a couple of the jokes, the trailer is more appealing than the Angry Birds trailer imo and that movie turned out 'OK' (at least not as bad as I thought it could've been) so I'm looking forward to it.
May 17, 20178 yr This has to be the best thing to happen to cinema in the history of movies, it already looks like a masterpiece. It truly is a gift from the heavens. Also loving this frame-by-frame analysis of the trailer jE4RoVwaQMY
May 17, 20178 yr Author I mean at least The Lego Movie was a cash cow that was also a great film :') No srsly, the whole concept of this is horrifying, I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry.
July 28, 20177 yr This is getting absolutely SLATED by the critics and not just because of the source material. Currently on 0% on Rotten Tomatoes after 23 reviews!
July 28, 20177 yr lmao! I'm just waiting for jacksfilms' review of it, he's been ironically hyping the release of this film for months, so much so that Sony invited him to the film premiere.
July 28, 20177 yr I knew this was gonna be bad but wow I did not expect this bad!!! 3% on Rotten Tomatoes with +30 reviews now with an average rating of 2.1/10 9 rating on Metacritic 1.5/10 on IMDB so if it stays at that level once it gets more ratings, that shoots it straight into the top 3 of IMDB's Bottom 250 films oops.
July 31, 20177 yr I didn't expect any less, it all looks so lazy. I hope it bombs in the box office as well.
July 31, 20177 yr Author Sir Patrick Stewart is the voice of the Poop in this movie. This is real life. I really hope it doesn't make a lot of money off this deserved backlash, but I fear it will. I'm just waiting for CinemaSins/Honest Trailers/Nostalgia Critic to roast it.
July 31, 20177 yr This is the movie version of tagging a Youtube video with FIDGET SPINNER to get views lmao
