It would have been much better if she'd got away with it, like Janine!! The whole soap thing of, women must pay for what they do - but men like Phil Mitchell neeeever do :rofl: - is antiquated fantasy.

 

No wonder Emmerdale Farm does bettee than EE with these mad storylines :lol:

Paige Sandhu is an excellent actress but the trial im not sure if i loved it or hated it, the ending was complete bonkers and as unrealistic as it could possibly be but removing that it was entertaining I THINK.

Thursday more than made up for the 3 trial days which were pretty disappointing apart from the end scene on Tuesday. It should have ended on Thursday although we would have missed out on the end scene on Friday.

Meenas final episode (for now..) was tonight.

 

I’m going to miss her so much. Paige Sandhu has been the standout star on not just Emmerdale but across all soaps the last few years so I’ve no doubt she’ll be in high demand. So relieved that soap killers getting a non death exit has become a thing now first Gray and now Meena (although with Meena we seen her trial and sentencing). What an exit she got though, I think it was the right one.

Paige is undeniably a great actress and she will be missed, the court case stuff was fine but i did prefer her work just before she was caught out.

I've got a feeling she won't win anything. She hasn't got much chance winning Leading Performer as if she even makes the shortlist the other contenders will have their storylines rammed down throats by the time voting closes while her storyline has finished.

As the public don't get a say on Best Villan, It might go to Gray as he is a more conventional villan.

Sometimes I would prefer for all awards to be voted by the public.

Anniversary week has been really disappointing, big let down,, but Emma Atkins who plays Charity has been great, I've always thought she is one of best actresses in soap.

The writing for Chas is terrible right now.

Just reached the wheelie bin saga on the episodes i'm catching up with, now they're common place in Society today

and lol at the scene where Viv falls into one i remembered that from first time round

 

 

Just watched the one where Angie Reynolds dies in the car chase

 

I remember watching that Viv scene, never understood why they axed her and pretty much replaced her with Brenda but Viv was much better, Deena was understandably a bit bitter about her axing and also her exit.
