December 30, 20169 yr Shouldn't dancing on your own involve actual dancing? Calum's version doesn't provide much to dance to. You completely misunderstand the juxtaposition of the lyrics vs. the tempo of the track - which is up enough to dance to - dancing on your own - yet feeling melancholy and sad. It perfectly captured the meaning! 'With Every Heartbeat' was another perfect example of this. So just because the song has the word "dance" in the chorus it should be uptempo? December 30, 20169 yr I didn't really like Closer when it was initially released but I love it now. The Chainsmokers are on top right now. It makes me wonder if Calvin Harris has lost his crown.
