Oh we're bad fans, we missed the 6 year anniversary of this album! It was released on 21st April 2017. Although today's date is the anniversary of it going in at #2 in the album chart!

 

Time really is flying. 6 years before Tears on the Dancefloor (April 2011) they still hadn't reunited yet...

It seems more than 6 years since we had them back properly but this was a real moment.

6 years wow! Also you’re right! Hard to imagine 6 years before that in 2011 they hadn’t reformed yet.

Got so many excellent songs in those 6 years, huge shame the album missed out on number 1 despite been number 1 for the most part of the week.

Agreed and a shame indeed. Still, I’m happy the PC got there and they broke the record!

Ya but it was a long wait for that number 1 but least they got it.

Hopefully the next release can do the same and when we released we get a sales update on TOTD.

I would love a sales update. Especially the new singles/albums!

Interesting to wonder whether they/the record company choose weeks there will be a battle in order to encourage more sales later in the week when it all gets a bit “close.”

^^ they’d be fools not to do it! They know their fan base will purchase!

The record label will always be sales focused so would prefer a 30k selling number 2 than a 20k number 1.

Happy 8th birthday indeed, still have great memories of this era, i think like many i was half expecting another disappointment like light up the world when i initially heard they were working on a new album but boy did they prove me wrong, they really came back as good as they could.

8 already Such a glorious comeback! In curious about it’s current sales, including an update on the singles.

I doubt their studio albums pick up many sales, the more recent greatest hits is likely the one picking up sales here and there.

True. Still, I would like to know were the singles sales stand at (especially Story).

As there is no real idea id hazed a guess some of them might be on between 60-75k.
