Each single will help keep the album in the charts.

To be fair, the album is doing good,it's still well ahead on sales over "current acts"such as the chainsmokers.

The album will manage Gold status which is great for them. I would believe sales will increase again when the Tour kicks off.

It would be wonderful if they stay together and release another brand new studio album in the next 2 years.

Disappointed with the midweek chart as the album sees a huge drop this, after a fairly steady chart run a 40 place drop is a surprise.
Well, at that sort of level sales are a lot closer together so a few hundred sales difference can mean a massive difference in position. At this point it's all about accruing sales.

Accuring sales is very important. With sales, it is likely 100 sales could change a chart position within 30 places at the mid point of the week.

By chance the album may appear on the chart this week or next but will likely not appear again until the tour starts kicking in.

A price reduction may help in these weeks to help attract sales.

Scared of the Dark would have got a much higher chart position had it had a cd single release. All in all the era has done well for them and they have done far better than i thought they would. I would be happy if the album eventually manages 100,000.
100,000 should be easily manageable for the album. At this point it has sold over 80,000. Neon Blue may help it back into the charts and the tour will attract sales in addition to the casual sales it will pick up.It is likely Tears on the Dancefloor will reach its Gold Status at the same time the Ultimate Collection will result in Steps achieving their 5th platinum selling album.
^ Tears on the Dancefloor is on just under 78,000 sales as of Friday / Ultimate Collection just under 267,000! Would indeed be nice if the tour can enable the albums to go gold and platinum certified respectively.
With the tour a while away, they should pick up sales at low levels until then to bring the sales up slightly. Ideally, they need to grab attention in the Q4 market to attract sales but the tour should keep their name out there.
If neon blue is promoted it will help album sales so between that and the tour and a few q4 sales it should get 100,000 eventually.

I'm hoping the album will climb again but looking at the midweeks it's still not top 100 despite album sales extremely low this week.
From the information we have received on sales in the top 5 albums it would indicate 1,000 sales would be enough to reach the top 100 this week. I would like to believe Steps would not be that far away.

Its chart run so far:

2 4 12 16 29 34 46 63 64 51 59 134 176 out 182...

It was out of the Top 200 for 1 week, and #182 is its most recent chart position. It's on the verge of 80,000 total sales. :D

That was a huge drop on its 12 weeks of release. That said, sales between positions 76 and 134 and was likely to be minimal.
I do think we'll get some kind of album reissue later this year. I am hoping for a bonus disc of remixes and extra material but maybe that's just wishful thinking.
I am disappointed not to see the album back on the chart. I really thought Neon Blue would help the album re enter the top 100 at the least.
