March 2, 20178 yr Yeah this is really good! Not FANTASTIC as of yet although there's a lot of time for growth but on first listen I'm really liking the sound of this! I don't at all think she's 'sold out', this is still very Lorde and slightly edgy/alt pop which is what I wanted from her, but at the same time this sounds like it could be a really big top 10 soon - it's very instant as Cam said so I'd assume this'll climb quickly if it is indeed going to be a hit. Fab. Couldn't have asked for more really, never LOVED Lorde but this definitely has potential to end up as my favourite song from her <3

March 2, 20178 yr Resistance is futile burbe, you know this xx (living for the pianos in the pre-chorus tbh, best part of the song) ((the pianos kinda sound like they could be in a Calvin Harris song which is why I said it sounded a bit more dance-pop than her previous stuff - after repeating it a few times I agree it's not really that 'dance' ~))
March 2, 20178 yr Tennis Court is also my fav of hers and should have been #1 instead of Royals :) never understood why Royals did so well and Tennis Court did absolutely nothing :/

March 2, 20178 yr Ooh this is a bit of a surprising sound :o a bit like Ed Sheeran coming back with 'Shape of You' - a slight departure from their usual sound but it totally works for them! Loving it on first listen, already so infectious :heart: the production in particular is slaying me especially in the pre-chorus *.*
